Again though, Spyderco's normal response to that, assuming it was a warranty issue and the model was still in production, would be to send the person a new knife. Spyderco has never sold blades for any of their knives which use screws. Am curious as to why you think they'd start doing that now. Screw construction?
I know the new Dragonfly 2 features Torx screws at the pivot and lockbar hinge but since when did the other formerly "all-pinned" models start having this? I just picked up a new PE Pacific that has torx at the pivot and lockbar hinge instead of pins....
