From what I’ve heard from Eric at the Amsterdam meet there will be +- 20 different versions coming with different steels and handle colors.

Really nice drawing. I like the overall shape with a little bit of the sheepsfoot shaved down. I lived in Curacao for a year. Would have been nice to have a knife like this back then.

Thanks for the quick answer BBB. I really like Maxamet from the start but only used it in the garden and as an edc. Was a little hasitent of using it occasionally to cut food. I also like the way it sharpens.

I said I was going to work on it a bit more. I thought I'd post the setup I used and the results. It's night and day from before. I honestly think Spyderco just needs to re-do the clip bends on this one and they'll have it 99% solved. It's SO much better. I really hope they do some CQI on this sinc...

We'll, my grinds and stop pin are fine. I just had a go at re-bending the clip and with a little more clearance it's a great improvement. Not perfect by any means but vastly better. Love this knife! The natural G10 looks stunning in combination with the black hardware. Sharpened it on the wicked edge and put a sharpening choil on it.

Mantra 2 CPM-M4

I use The Ifixit tool set in combination with a Wiha set. For lube I use Nano oil 10w and for maintance oil I use Ballistol.
