So you’re looking for a sugar daddy. These people usually expect ‘something’ in return for their financial support. Goodluck on your quest for all the knives, I just hope you can look at yourself in the mirror once you’re done ‘bartering’.

Re: Pocket Clip Sets and Handle Scale Sets : Would it be worth it for Spyderco and would you want them?

Sal has said before that he prefers to leave those things up to the end users; whether that's aftermarket scales or a swap with another knife. I'm sure it actually helps sales in a way. If someone wants orange scales, they might be more inclined to buy a sprint or exclusive, for a scale swap, instea...

Have you considered writing Bill Gates a lil note?
Humm, that's a good idea. If it doesn't work out, I'm sure Elon Musk will come through, I mean the guy made flamethrowers for fun.

Re: Help needed...

How about this? Once advanced molecular nano replicator-assemblers are made and mass produced and become so cheap that everyone has them, we can make piles and piles of Spyderco knives? Just purchase the CAD file from Golden and print out a whole acre of every blade you want :) We were supposed to ...

Re: Spyderco Military and Paramilitary 2 upcoming sprints and exclusives

What about other steels? Like CPM S125V from Crucible? Or the newest Buhler M398 steel? 😎 In another thread, it was requested that Spyderco do a sprint in 15V, or similar steel. Sal said they were monitoring the thread. We might just see something like 125V, 15V, M398, or Rex121. That would be awes...

Re: Spyderco Stretch in action

Nothing compares to a stretch. In the last week I received two older models Both are in VG10. Honestly Spyderco could have stopped with VG10 and been perfectly alright. Earlier in the week Streth1 fully Serrated = Awesome. Today older Stretch before all the FRN madness and G10 stuff. Partly Serrate...

Re: Massdrop SG2 Delica...arrived!!

On topic, I'm bummed I missed out on these runs. I believe I was mere days short of the drop window :(. I hope the response of these goes over so well that Spyderco decides to initiate another run! I think that decision is up to Massdrop. Honestly though, i doubt they'd do a second run of the exact...

Re: Native Chief - Can we get a heartbeat?

Speculation is pointless, because it's just that. When it is available we will find out what kind of knife it is. Until then, it's all irrelevant.

Re: Massdrop SG2 Delica shipped??!?

The cladding is a Japanese specialty. San Mai is the name, and while it's beneficial for non-stainless blades, they do it with stainless as well. Sometimes it's also to help with toughness, as the core steel can be more brittle than the clad.

At 2.6 ounces I doubt it has liners. I am personally super happy about a super lightweight 4 inch knife. It looks a lot like the C54 Calypso which makes me happy.
