it would be cool if spyderco made a servival knife. maybe like a strait blade, serated blade, can opener, and maybe like a screwdriver or two and then sliding out of the handles in like a swiss knife a strip of magnisium and twezers. this would be my dream knife

and the way i see it the delica is just like Bibby. sure he may be a little small but ive never seen a shot he cant take

i actually understand that. it seems as thoughit may be a little bulky as you say and you would haveto make sure that the clip was tight enough on the second loop but yes that would be cool

may i suggest the delica lightweight? its a great little knife. it is strong enough to cut hose but delicate enough for nearly anything. its big enough to do everything a big knife can but small enough to not scare sheeple. you'll definatly not be sorry for this purchess

i have a knife like that too. i just cant get it sharp no matter what. it too had sentimental value. i retired it from service and bought a new one. i dont need to be using the knife to like it. i like knowing it is safe and i cant lose it this way.

i carry a delica lightweight serated. thats really it. sometimes i carry my wave if im camping but i find its too heavy for edc. at 8 ounces. plus i dont like using the sheath cause people keep looking at it.

thanx. how do you remove the pocket clip? i came up with delicrazy just simply by thinking about it. i like the delica and i wanted a word that sarted with a letter in delica. so i drop the a and bam! delicrazy. im so proud of myself. lol

thanks for the advice. the knife is vg-10 steel and the clip seems to be almost molded on. there is a hole in it too
