I worry a little about that problem as well. Not only is the clip significantly longer than usual, that single hole in the clip does leave a vulnerable spot.

Since this is a golden model, maybe they can grab a clip off the assembly line before the hole is drilled and send it to you?

when I first started carrying a knife, I made the decision not to carry a when going out. Not that I would become so aggressive that I would harm anyone, but rather in the same vain, that you shouldn't drink and drive. In addition, more and more bars are searching actively for weapons and are using ...

Thanks for the support guys, my interview last friday actually went quite well. So well, in fact, that it would be a real pity if I didn't get the job. I mean, besides the fact that I 'need' a job, the people I met and the job are really nice. Still, the hunt continues, thanks again for the support,...

My cat fell asleep on my Spyderhawk, very fitting since she is a bit vicious to strangers touching her tail or belly. A little sparkplug that fell asleep on the most mean-looking Spydie I have :D

Thanks for the support guys, it's just a little frustrating to have management tell you that you're fired not because of how bad you did your work, on the contrary. But because others did not do their work properly, and ofcourse an economy that hasn't helped either. Somewhere I wish I was fired beca...

Attached are some of the animals I encountered, all of them are 'wild', as far as that is possible nowadays, except for the school of dolphins. That picture was taken during a whale watching ride in Victoria, Vancouver Island. BTW, that first picture is of a squirrel biting me in the pants, because ...

hi Chris,

thanks for the tip, I am already travelling 100km+ a day by train to and from work. With my trusty laptop and cell phone it is actually a pretty productive time of the day.

The job-hunt is on!

Just got fired!!

Well, a nice start of the day... Due to financial-economic circumstances my contract won't be renewed at the end of the year. My performance, targets and all, were not the problem as is admitted by my manager, but the overall workload of the company is shrinking and my contract is the cheapest one t...

Great pics Ted! Wanna see some of the wildlife pics I snapped from the car? I spotted Coyotes, deer, bighorn sheep, moose and bears. The local didn't think much of all that, well I did of course. The only wildlife you get to see in my part of the world are sparrows! Although, spotting moose was appa...

My absolute favorite to date is the Icefields Parkway in Canada between Banff and Jasper. Yes, it is a tourist attraction but compared to the Dutch polder-landscape it is just stunning, despite all the tourists. I will go back someday to turn the 5-hour drive into I dunno 10 hrs. Lots of beautiful s...

I believe there were additional colors and edge-types for the japanese market. Perhaps, hamonochoiba still has some of those?

It is not 'just another lockback' though, with its impressive lock-strength. Plus, there are not many locks that are as ambi-friendly as a lockback.

I too have been into G-shock for about 6years I think. Not as a collector, but about every two years I buy a new one. So I am not up-to-date on model number and what not, but for a casual watch there's no substitute for G-Shocks in my book! Come to think of it, maybe it's that time to get a new one!...
