For me, it seems like limiting shipping to only the United States stops a lot of spam and fraud from happening, also not having to deal with lost packages during international shipping would be worth not doing it, too. I'm not pointing at Australia, but there are a lot of countries that aren't very...

Used mine in humid tropical conditions... No sign of corrosion so far but that is on the surface and the only way to tell for sure is to take it apart to see the part facing the FRN. I've used it for saltwater fishing (for a few hours) with no ill effects. I soak my knife in a bowl under a running t...

Found a new friend on Flickr...
I've been uploading my Spydie pics on Flickr for a while now and met a fellow knife enthusiast there. Nice chap... We got into discussing knives and stuff but he never had a Spyderco before. Today I received this e-mail from him... I think we got another one. :D I just received my Sage 2! What an aw...

What have you sold so far?
There seems to be quite a few threads on what knives we have coming in... What have you sold so far this year? You don't need to get into the details like me but it always interests me which is sacrificed and which stays in the collection. Dragonfly SE (AUS8) Used for almost a year I sold it as I kn...

I'm coming to my 30th Spyderco... I do not buy Spydercos exclusively, there are also 3 BMs, 4 Kershaws and a handful of SAKs. 2 customs too... But the majority of my collection, and ALL my users are Spydercos. Will I ever get bored with the bug? Doubt it... There are still a few I have in mind and s...

I've handled it only a couple of time... As a lefty I do not need 4 way clip positioning. Left right is fine with me. Too many tapped holes spoils the looks of the knife. Tip up or down matters little too (though I know a lot of users prefer tip up). To be honest on larger knives tip down is prefera...

On a blade that size and on a steel that is already fairly rust resistant I see no point in putting a coating on it. It may appeal to some collectors but as a production model I doubt it would sell well. As a Sprint Run it may sell well but a coated version is not such a major distinguishing feature...

My black bladed E4 has the same white marks... Could be calcium deposits cause we have very mineral rich water source here. I don't really give it much thought actually but if it is for safekeeping I can see how it would be an issue. So far the coating has held up well. If only they used the same co...
