Southerner- If you are making inferences about sales based off of amazon reviews, wouldn't it also be fair to infer that people would be less likely to buy better models from amazon, and more likely to buy from trusted retailers therefore skewing your conclusion to bias your argument?

Wouldn't a soldering gun be good for direct heat to the screw? And I've seen the Dremel suggestion before, cutting in a groove for a flat head screwdriver.

Have you called spyderco customer service? You can also email but last time I did that it took them a month to respond. But I hear calling yields quicker responses.

I take it to mean an edge that is generally useful, but not impractical to maintain under reasonable conditions.

It's not the wrong tool if it's lasted 2 years and is still functional.

Better jimping, beautiful g10, USA steel... those alone worth $20 easy imo but there might be more as I haven't bought one yet, and don't plan to own a tenacious.
