Re: Stretch 2 Blade Shape
The Stretch LW is one of my all-time favorite knife designs. It fits my hand in a wide variety of grips like it was custom molded for it, plenty of cutting edge, enough belly and point to be useful, and visually pleasing with the curve to the spine of the blade. The Stretch 2 changed the ergonomics ...

Re: Bushcraft folder
One big issue with the WolfSpyder is that it was originally only sold in the UK through Ray's shop, and then later at the factory outlet. If it'd been released through normal distribution channels it might have done better. I carry mine occasionally, and for a small knife with a really thick blade, ...

Re: Mystery DLT Exclusive
I hope it's ground thinner than the original, which has a (Surprising for an Ed Schempp design) rather poor edge geometry.

Re: Q-Ball
I have a Q-Ball and the D'Allara 3, and the Q's always been easier to unlock for me on my examples. A Manix 2 cage doesn't look as nice, but is a lot easier to manipulate than either.

Now where's the serrated one? I have plenty of small PE wharncliffe slipjoints; need one in that size with teeth!

Re: Cru-wear Dragonfly with OD FRN Scales @ DLT
I am weak willed and easily seduced. Despite not really liking the Dragonfly I now have the 20CV and Cruwear versions inbound. At least I can take a picture of them posed next to their respective Delica counterparts...

Re: Who wants more models with raffir noble scales?
I'd like a Lum Chinese (And/or Lil' Lum) using it. Maybe with M390/20CV/204P now that non-Japanese steels are an option in Seki-made knives, or one last hurrah of ZDP-189. (My RN Chap has one big patch of missing mesh on the clip side, but it's right over the pivot so you can see the details of the ...

Re: Is it time to bring back the Rock Salt?
I've long wanted a version of the Rock Salt/Schempp Rock better suited for chopping - thicker stock so it has more mass, in a tough tool steel -- V-Toku2, maybe.

Re: Cru-wear Dragonfly with OD FRN Scales @ DLT
Between this and the 20CV one, I wish I liked the Dragonfly more, but the handle shape just doesn't work for me.
I'd be up for a P4 or Endura in Cruwear though. Or pretty much any Spyderco fixed blade design...

Re: Cutleryshoppe Exclusive Shaman, Stonewash CTS-XHP, Orange G10
Picked up mine from the post office today; first Shaman. Didn't realize it would be quite so chonky. Between it, the Rex 45 Native Chief and the BHQ Rock Lobster being my last three purchases, I'm having to come up with excuses to carry bigger knives than I normally do lately...

Re: What's your favorite large Spyderco folder?
The Barong's still my favorite, though there's a bunch of other great big knives. Probably the Native Chief from the ones explicitly listed in the poll.
