I think the collaboration that would interest me the most would be With Dalibor bergam, Or with Peter Rassenti with his Alpha model.

Re: LC200N Caribbean

Man I sure hope there are no ball bearings in the Caribbean or any Salt knife ever, just another place to get gunked up, especially in a knife that will see a lot of that if used for fishing etc. I'm sure Sal just misspoke though. We are also learning that H1 may be better at corrosion resistance t...

Re: No Love for the Shaman?

The shaman is my favorite knife this company has ever made. I removed the little nub on the choil, tweaked the lockbar so it bends from further back, not from halfway along the lockbar which eases the lock release without sacrificing much detent, and deepened the recess in the g10 so the knife could...

All the knives you bought are more than capable of the job. :) Never had issues with cutting copper , weather it be 420A or K390

Re: An up to date Delica design

The bigger groove on the delica handle for your front 2 fingers is a bit too small imo, I would change that and add a choil. And make it thinner behind the edge on FFG models

It appears you sharpen with a pullthrough sharpener and that is the root of your problems. Try out a stone :) Pullthrough sharpeners weaken the apex substantially. i've seen that happened before on my cheap kitchen knives back in the day when i was using pull-through carbide sharpeners back in the ...

Re: Has your compression lock knife opened accidentally?

I had it happen with a southard and it bit my thumb pretty bad. I was walking through a park with my hand profusely bleeding.... didnt quite know what to do XD. It didnt have a weak detent, I dont really know why it opened. My best guess is the flipper tab bumped something and knocked the blade ajar...

We also have to add a line in our letters with the knives that states that our knives may have nickle in the steel and that nickle can cause cancer. A California law that is mandatory by this summer.

Wouldnt consider stuff like the super leaf and shaman prybars. They are just wide blade that are FFG but reasonably thin behind the edge.

Pics? It sounds like the pivot pin is getting caught up on the scale and just needs to be pushed right through. And yeah they send the $5 back most the time
