Re: What Are You Reading ?
excessively fond of equines I wasn't aware such a thing were possible! I happen to have a tattoo of myself (as a horse) riding a horse over a rainbow. Also the horse has a rainbow tail. If you weren't such a philistine, perhaps you would have caught the reference to the character in a novel by Phil...

Fatly loving some horses? Negative, knucklehead. I'm neither excessively fond of equines nor overweight. If you weren't such a philistine, perhaps you would have caught the reference to the character in a novel by Phillip K. Dick. ;) I'm reading A Manual for Creating Atheists by Peter Boghossian. I...

Re: Help with new knife purchase
Per the product description in the catalogue the Manix 2 G-10 liners are described as " full " and the Xl as " lightweight " . Anyway, the PM2 that I recently acquired makes up for it in the fun to deploy department.

Re: Help with new knife purchase
Manix 2 S110V is the perfect EDC for me until they make me one in solid G10 with no liners. Yeah the G -10 with liners is quite heavy for its size. I prefer the larger Manix 2 XL with the lighter liners actually. I've also noticed that every Manix 2 G-10 that I've handled seems to have a blade that...

Re: Sanity check on unwanted visitors
I forgot to add that for reasons with regard to insurance liability she shouldn't be wandering around during the construction of the swimming pool. What if she were to fall ? Would she try to sue you ? Make sure that you protect yourself against this unwanted scenario !

Re: Sanity check on unwanted visitors
Be friendly but not familiar (Ben Franklin ? ) , thereby not enabling this kind of bad behavior or worse in the future. I guess another way put would be that there is a fine line between friendliness and allowing someone to take advantage of it. (I've faced this scenario before.) Perhaps you should ...

Look up a wiha set on Amazon, German made quality with true sizing and reinforced tips. It's usually not the "bad screw" or so we like to call them....that is the reason for the stripping that occurs, it's either the soft torx driver ends or an off sized torx driver. I got a set of six dr...

I own this Husky set from Home Depot : https://youtu.be/GgrFoD7WDlU" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I'm not sure which set to replace it with as there doesn't appear to be a consensus on which one is the best. However, there appears to be a consensus on the Husky set being i...

Re: T 6 for the clip on a PM2 ? Please confirm ...
I don't want to use the wrong size and therefore strip a screw Then best to leave the clip where Spyderco intended it to be. I see too many people write about stripping screws while messing with their knives. And please do not swap the clip and then immediately advertise the knife for sale, in bran...

Re: T 6 for the clip on a PM2 ? Please confirm ...
Interesting. My PM2, Delica 4 and Tenacious all take a T7 for the pocket clip. All 3 were purchased within the last 3 months. The PM2 was bought about 2 weeks ago. The T6 will work, but it has a lot of side to side play. Hmm ... I don't want to use the wrong size and therefore strip a screw. T6 or ...

Re: Would you trade a Manix 2 XL for a PM2 ? Good deal ?
More than a fair trade, although I always opt for the USPS option. I've done trades from Ohio to California, and even sent knives to people in the UK. Knife trading is a whole new level of Spyderco addiction haha. Welcome to the club! This small trip was worth it because I saw some friends that I h...
