Spyderco, in my opinion, is the best knife company out there. Their designs are innovative, extremely ergonomic, and just plain cool. Plus I think it's pretty awesome that the owner of the company cares enough about his customers to actually actively post here. It shows commitment to quality and rec...

I usually take it as a challenge. One time I opened a soda syrup box with my sage though... That was a bad idea

I really dig the choils. I'd be more inclined to get an Endura if that was its profile

Nice! Welcome to your new addiction.

Yeah make the Para 2 your next move. Nothing fits in the hand better. The sage line is also fantastic with a 3" blade

Yeah there's really not much you could change aside from improved manufacturing (better pivots, tighter tolerances, that sort of thing). The design is pretty flawless, it's very general use, and spyderco makes plenty of other designs to fill in the gaps for other uses.

So lucky I found an original for $30 at a flea market. It's a really cool knife, just not $100 worth.

I use my para 2 daily, usually to deal with all my restaurants lemons, likes, carrots, and celery. I sharpen it once a week and I have no problem with sharpness or corrosion whatsoever. Furthermore the flow through design makes it really easy to clean. I've always found 154cm to actually be a bit ha...

I see rip off Delia's and Enduras ALL THE TIME. WAY WAY WAY more than actual spydercos. You can very easily tell they're fake because they'll look like first generation and super duper crappy. They'll cost like $15. If you have any eye for quality whatsoever you'll know immediately

Id honestly would take vg10 over almost any steel any day. Ease of sharpening, maintains it's edge for a long time, and gets VERY sharp. Also it's not super expensive.

I personally dig the sweep of the manbug, however I also carry a ladybug hawkbill h1 for contrast. It's nice having equal sized blades that make opposite kinds of cuts
