....they sell more "Spyderco" models than Spyderco!!
I wonder if they even have a quarter of those counterfeits available?
or if they even bother... maybe they just take your money and don't send anything?

Their Ebay store is full of items as of 1pm est on 1/31/23 Current Paras have both Sal and Eric's mark, as seen on the Spyderco web site. The clip position is certainly a tell and character of the imprints looks like a "good" fake to me, but the image quality is poor enough that it's tough...

Re: Men's Belts?
I like cheap belts. My favorite use to be leather and studded spikes. Now you can't hardly find these in real leather. So being cheap. I tried this out. $12 from Amazon and so far looking good after a year of every day use. Those were super cool in the 1970s... I'm alergic to most '70s styles these...

Re: Men's Belts?
The Bison Designs belts with "last chance" locking buckle are great and don't cost too much. The buckles are aluminum, so expect colored finishes to wear, but the webbing is excellent and they're made in Colorado (USA Earth). I own a couple great locally made leather belts, but after my GF...

Attn: Kristi! bold Ebay seller claims 2x Para exclusive Ebay only
Hi all, my previous post about these knives was made before I contacted the seller... who insists that these knives were ordered as an exclusive straight from Spyderco. I smell some probable BS, but would love to have confirmation one way or the other from Spyderco. If they're real, we may well want...

opaque red G10 Para 2 and 3 on Ebay
https://www.ebay.com/itm/204227462329 https://www.ebay.com/itm/204227466609 Seller has good feedback, but AFAIK there hasn't been a cherry red variant of either model, no red scales on S45VN either... The M390 and 4V knives had translucent G10. These aren't being sold at "bargain" (counte...

I haven’t been following this thread too closely but it seems like as good of a time as any to promote the “Random: General Spydie Chat” thread.” It was made specifically for off topic chatter. “Random: General Spydie Chat” thread Dang! and here I was thinking that this was the place for OT convos:...

Re: How Old Were You When You Began Carrying?
I can't collect the extra points, since I got my first pocket knife in the mid 1970s (probably '74 or '75, so around 7 or 8yo)... it was an Imperial 2 blade jack, around 2.25" to 2.5" overall, that was bought at the local Ben Franklin department store. I immediately learned to sharpen it w...

I'd be interested to know if the locking block dimensions are actually different from a non LW M2. or if it's just lacking threads to utilize screws? ...of course even if the existing holes are a diameter that could successfully be threaded, it might be difficult finding the correct counter-sink hea...

I wonder what the (hopefully) soon to land Salt will use for materials? LC200N is originally a bearing steel, so that would make sense, but the spring may be harder to do in steel... the right Ti alloy might work though? don't forget this won't be the first salt ball bearing lock. the tusk used a c...

All the tan I have, now plus one! 162829spy.jpg As an example of how the Sprint/Exclusive game has changed in the last few years, I purchased the (more brown than tan) XHP Manix LW for myself, then realized that a) it was a great knife and b) our long time UPS driver, was retiring in a month or so a...

Re: CPM 15v Manix 2
.... the ti cage is definitely an improvement in my opinion, even though it's unnecessary. My Ti cage is somehow "stickier" than the original polymer cage :( (as in the cage and ball don't slide against each other as freely as the polymer versions, this is felt on the unlock only) I've be...

Re: CPM 15v Manix 2
Just a heads up so folks understand what’s happening here. Spyderco is only shipping “2-5 knives per dealer”, this was said to me by the fella at DLT trading. He doesn’t know why Spyderco is doing that, but they are. DLT is expecting another shipment from Spyderco, and when they have their full inv...
