Next Seki Sprint Run Steel and Color?

Isn't it about time we start thinking of the next Seki Sprint Run?! I know there was talk for a while but nothing came of it. Any ideas or suggestions?

Re: Gritty Manix - Send it in or take it apart?

Spyderco changed the policy this year right? Taking knives apart no longer voids warranties. I have taken apart Manix and Sage 3 multiple times. It's definitely the most challenging by far but doable. Make sure you don't lose the spring or ball if you decide to give it a go!

Re: Suggest my next knife please

How does the Para 3 compare to the Native 5 in hand fit? Similar size spec wise but it handles and carries differently. I have owned a Native 4 and handled a Para 3 so I think I can comment. Para 3 feels like you're holding a Para 2 with a short blade imo. It has a pronounced (very) thumb ramp and ...

Re: Blade Show Excitement

I didn't know they took away the composite, nice looking knife for sure. And as for Lance's knife, I'll let Sal, Eric, or Lance provide details. Truly bad ***. I'm in the market for a lightweight, ergonomic, stainless, tough little belt knife and this fits the bill. Thank you so much for the compli...

Re: Blade Show Excitement

It's ok to discuss the designs for protos and concepts. We prefer that no images are shared until the knife, if made, is closer to production. sal Thanks Sal, pleasure meeting you sir! Ok so Lance's knife. Before anything is said about the knife, think about who designed the knife, a guy who's gett...

Re: Just how good is CPM S30V?

It's nothing special...Because Spyderco and other companies uses it so much. Thats why it doesn't get the respect it deserves. It holds a great edge, it's tough, and very stainless. Sharpening takes effort but doable without a doubt. If you compare steels by composition you'll see s30v and s35vn are...

Re: Blade Show Excitement

If Sal gives the go ahead I would be more than happy to share all information that I remember. All I can say is it's really a knife I have been looking for, for quite some time now, designed by a man who's really out there living the life. I want to make sure this thing comes to market!

Yea, I hope it's ok to mention the knife I did. If not, I will gladly edit my post.

There were so many cool folders but didn't want to mention them since their status is still uncertain.

Blade Show Excitement

What did you guys see at Blade that you are most excited about? For me it would definitely be Lance's fixed blade design! About 4 1/4 inches of lightweight belt knife perfection with a cool stainless I haven't gotten to try out yet. For an active, sweaty guy like me who enjoys being in the water (th...

We need to make this happen, should be a carbon steel blade. Better yet, just make it out of hamahagane.
