I've always had good luck drawing on the lock interface with a pencil a few times. Clears it right up. Some say it doesn't work for them, but it has worked for me.

This has worked for me too on a Para 3.

Appreciate the answers. I have couple Shamans lined up to be sharpened including one for my friend who is sending it to me. I just don’t want him to worry about regrinding down the line.

What is your preferred angle for sharpening a Shaman? Anyone know the factory angle? I know there was another thread in the past regarding the lowest angle for a Shaman, but I’m curious to know what angle you Shaman users like to keep it at? Thanks.

Both my buddy and I ordered from them the first time you posted. No issues at all. Received shipping info and knife came in a few days.

Love the combination. Wouldn’t mind other steels with micarta in the future.

It’s interesting to me that all these small shops are getting them in, but none of the big name online retailers have them yet. If it’s because Spyderco is taking care of the small mom and pop shops first, then props to them.
