Re: Disco'd models on your to find list

AFAIK the Centofante Memory isn't discontinued? I'd like (among a host of others) Almite Walker (have a Walker FRN) Breeden Rescue C15 Bob Terzuola (to put beside my C19 JR :) All the Kopas, have the Apple coral, and it's arguably the best looking, best put together Spydie i own. However, getting al...

Re: Wood scales manix 2?

How do i get in touch with 'spketch' ? A very talented flute maker friend of mine made these thuja burl scales for my Tenacious, but he feels they take too much time out of his ordinary work to be interesting to make, he also felt he couldn't charge what they really should cost, so.. https://dl.drop...

Most often it's a CRKT, my second favorite brand. Sometimes a Buck Marksman or Fällkniven U2 (I am Swedish after all :) )

Re: Sage 5 ... any news??

I think Gavin and Grant Hawks are great candidates.. Also, would be fun to own a Sage with plunge lock (?) like the Puma 777 or the lock type i had on an old Rigid knife, i don't know what its called, but you pulled the blade forward to release the lock. Whatever it will be, i am in line. Have the f...

Re: C191GP Janisong – first impressions

Agree with just about everything said above. Only downside IMO "function-wise" is the (already mentioned) slightly too light "inner handle" which ideally should be a little heavier to balance the blade anad give greater momentum. Other than that it's a really nice knife, quite up...

Re: Steel upgrades for byrds?

I see.. Can you see a steel upgrade in a foreseeable future? It's not a dealbreaker in my case, but i would rather wait for a BD1 version to be honest. It could be a while. Not all makers are good enough and of those, not all of them are interested in trying to work with new steels. sal Thanks for ...

Re: Steel upgrades for byrds?

I am very happy with my Raven 2! Actually i haven't picked up my Tenacious since i got it. I really wish you'd upgrade the titanium handle Cara cara 2 with BD1 as well! Seems a little odd to me with the flashy Ti handle and still the same old steel. Now i am not a "steel snob" by any means...

Re: Kizer Kecker Collab...

I would be curious to see a knife with a Kleckler Lock. I have never handled one but it looks like an integrated backlock. Maybe something we will see in a Sage? It does appear as though CRKT is making them though. I have the CRKT Nirk Tighe featuring the Glenn Klecker back lock. Would love to see ...
