Re: Family friendly jokes

A teacher asks her class what their favorite letter is. A student says G. The teacher asks - Why is that, Angus? I absolutely don't get it  Perhaps it's a language barrier, so I'll explain. Remove the "g" from his name, put the remaining letters together, and the new word this i...

That new Cannibal Corpse!!!!! I feel so out of place in this thread sometimes 🤣 We're all alone in this thread brother haha! I just heard the newest song out on Liquid Metal on my way home from work. That song Inhumane Harvest made it's way onto my workout playlist. That song gets me going. ...

Would be a shame because Rex 45 begs to be used, same as the M4 in my pocket.

Some R&R after work  the jade G10 is really cool. I thought the blade steel would be the defining factor of this version, but the scales are a big plus :D

Re: Long Blade Folder Guys ... what you cutting?????

As has been said by other forumites, it's down to comfort first. The Millie is so far the best handle I've used in a folder. It doesn't slip, it fills my hand and allows all sorts of grips. The longer blade is a consequence of the handle length but is also useful for my daily cutting tasks (plastic ...

Re: What Are You Reading ?

In my hand right now is Nabokov's Lance. I'd never heard of or read his works, and it's very engaging. Not a Police (the band) fan, then? I know their obvious hits, otherwise not in the slightest, why ? They had a well known song with a Nabokov reference. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don%27t_Stand...

I bought a good dozen of Penguin Modern's small books. There's short stories, poems etc.

The translation reminds me of Lovecraft, in the wording and sentence construction if nothing else.

Re: I'm having an issue with US made Spydies

I don't believe in trying to tell someone how to use their property but trying to tell me that taking my knives apart to clean or maintain them is necessary will get an argument out of me everytime. I have Spydercos over 20 years old with half of that in my pocket daily that have never needed to be...

Re: I'm having an issue with US made Spydies

Why are you taking them apart? There is a warranty process in place. I prefer Spyderco keep doing what they are doing, like securing the product at the factory so I don't have to. The idea that we need to disassemble them later on and tinker with them is part of the overall, weird obsession over wh...

Re: I'm having an issue with US made Spydies

That's unfortunate. I've taken apart 4 U.S. Spydies of different years, both with red and blue loctite. Not one of them was particularly difficult to disassemble. PM2 and Millie in S30V, Manix 2 XL in S90V, and the Rex45 Shaman. And I was the first owner/user for all of these. Maybe the problem come...
