Soooo ... I was looking at a piece of fitness equipment before the holidays - $999. Went back today to look again - $1,199. That's a 20% jump between 20 and 21 - Sticker Shock!!! Maybe not so bad around here after all.... I haven't experienced a wage increase since summer 2019, nor was I out of work...

I had visited a retailer's web page before the New Year and put a couple of Spydercos in the cart to beat the 2021 price increases. Then, decided not to go thru with it. There was another knife I had my eye on and planned to buy next paycheck but someone else grabbed it so it is no longer available....

I took my D4 to 12 degrees per side. Wasn't happy with it. Subsequent sharpenings have been in the 17 degree to 18 degree per side range. I've been happy with that.

Maybe we should be asking our favorite retailers for more sales. It could help to direct traffic to their website. I suppose you can look at your stimulus check as means to offset the 2021 MAP increase ... or you could earmark as a SpydieCheck and lose control!!!

Would prefer the retailers sell there 2020 stock at 2020 prices till gone ... then sell 2021 stock at 2021 prices. Suspect this would be difficult to impossible for the mothership to maintain watchful control of its retailers' pricing.
