Re: Para 3 Cruwear in stock..
What a bummer!! Got my hands on one but really wanted a backup because I like it so much. Here’s the email: Here at KnifeCenter, we always strive to keep our customers aware of the latest developments on their outstanding pre-orders. We have recently been notified by Spyderco that the C223GPGYCW Par...

Hello Sal...it’s been about 10 weeks since your last Advocate update. Do we have a better idea of an ETA yet? Any chance it’ll be before the holidays? I’m really looking forward to getting one back in my pocket!

Re: Time for a next-gen Centofante?
CF, wireclip, xhp, CHOIL I like the idea of an updated Vesuvius (same blade and handle pattern, but with a compression lock) with CF scales, but adding a choil would make it a different knife... It might wind up being a great knife, but it would essentially be a new model. I agree that it would tot...

Re: Time for a next-gen Centofante?
I’d never say no to solid CF but I was hoping that we’d eventually get it in the Pakkawood configuration since the Delica/Endura are also made in Japan. However, I’d prefer it with solid HAP40...a patina looks great wooden handle scales! Or Cruwear!! Anything and everything in Cruwear...PLEASE! That...

I just love how unique this knife is! It also proves that polished white G10 should be used more often! I think the upcoming Hanan would look great with it. Or on a Delica with full steel liners/backspacer...

Re: Where Spyderco Knives Fall Short
I’d love if Spyderco would make knives that are comfortable to use, cut like razors, are easy to carry, have smooth one handed deployment, aren’t too heavy and have blades that don’t get in the way during use...wait...that’s exactly what they do! Also, as others have mentioned...they have plenty of ...

After about a year with my Cruwear PM2 and a couple of weeks with the Para 3 I can confirm that Cruwear is king!! It has easily become my favorite steel to use and sharpening it is a pleasure!

Re: Crazy deals @ Sierra and other places
They also have the HAP40 Stretch for $138.95...their sale prices are what they should be going for anyway. I can't stand how much they price gouge...they have the Cruwear PM2 for $300! That's just not cool...Bdubs808 wrote:Bento Box Shop has the HAP40 Endura 4 on sale for $116.95 plus shipping...

Re: Para 3 sprint has dropped!
They're the same as far as I can tell. Aside from the steel and scale color the only difference between my Cruwear P3 and my first-run base model is the little relief/step they're cutting on the lock face. They started doing that right after the first release so all the Para 3s should have that now...
