Re: MT01 story, ends in tragedy.
The MT01 / 52100 is the ancestor of all mules, so it's a shame to know that one has been destroyed. I'm very sorry for you! Yes, the MT01 is the first and so far only mule with smaller holes. I also retrofitted halpern scales, but instead of enlarging the holes, I used smaller screws ... that was ea...

Re: Anyone else concerned?
My 5 € -cents to the whole story: As European, I am not interested in all the exclusive models of American dealers for several reasons - it is difficult to acquire them and above all I find it somehow unimaginative. A look at my purchases over the past year shows what I like more: Ikuchi, Kapara, Sp...

Re: Spydiewiki images broken
This is bad because a good number of the images were created by me and a lot of work was involved. Hopefully it will be fine again, someone must have changed something in the wiki and if so, then it can probably be undone.

Re: Two Obscure Spyderco Gems: The C-56 Zowada & The Rookie
In all my years in the forums I can't remember that JD ever postet a picture. This makes me thinking JD and photos are incompatible ... :winking-tongue No it's not that at all Peter :( Joe, I knew about your blows, not all of them, but some of them. Therefore I very much hope that from now on your ...

Re: Order to Europe
This year I did not receive a catalog either, although I filled out the form several times. Even last, when I bought online directly some knives from SFO and ticked the catalog option, nothing came up. Maybe they do not send catalogs to Europa anymore ... :sad-but-relieved Peter, I've sent you a pe...

Re: Did Spyderco stop sending out their physical catalogs?
A hardcopy catalog would be SUPER if I was a time traveler going back to 1984 to buy a Spyderco Worker. Alas, this is 2021. As a prisoner of the time-space continuum, the only use I can find for paper catalogs is for lining birdcages and starting campfires. The cost of printing, postage, and labor ...

Re: Spyderco Q possible prototype???
Unfortunately your hope is hopeless, the production of Qs is long gone away. I can't imagine Spyderco will continue again, especially not in the near future.

Re: Order to Europe
Obviously these are more than just isolated cases and that makes me sad and thoughtful.
In Europe we pay premium prices though we do not expect to receive premium service, only equal service like customers in the USA.

Re: Sal - YOU are not listening - we want Manix with laser.
Funny... but this music-thing brought me to an at least half-serious idea: A mountain/climbing Spydie that has a small alarm whistle included in the handle. You are late, Sal even makes even the most semi-serious ideas feasible in advance - :winking-tongue https://www.spyderco.com/catalog/details/C...

Re: Spyderco River Knife?
I'm a long time white water paddler with inflateable kayaks and canues and the Aqua Salt serrated is my choice since it was launched. In emergancy case (thankfully I never had one in the past) the pointed tip is a must have when piercing the hull, otherwise there is a risk of beeing fixed by your ow...

The biggest problem would be my fellow human beings, because I am a peaceful person and do not use weapons.
