Re: What’s up with the military?

The Military is one of my favorites and I still have and use the ComboEdge S30V Black G-10 which I got in September 2005 for $103! There were 7 Military models released from May 2016 to February 2019 all with CQI enhancements: Military CTS-204P Dark Green G-10 C36GGRP KnifeWorks (USA) - MAY 2016 Mi...

Re: Finally ordered that Lone Wolf Distributor's Endura

I had a similar idea but mine included a CE Endura swap. CE blade fit fine with good lock engagement but the last inch of blade strikes the back spacer upon closing. Not sure if this is because of differences in the blade profile or the kick. There is definitly a difference in the backspacer with th...

Re: Rex 45 sharpening

Carbide rich- you're gonna want CBN or diamond stones. You'll get the greatest working edge with a more coarse edge finish. 600 grit seems about right.

Re: Who edc's their Endura?

Almost always carry either a Mille or an E4.
On duty at the fire station it is always a CE Endura.
Right at this moment it's an SG2 Endura; yesterday was a ZDP Endura, day before that was a 52100 Mille. And on it goes.......

Re: Spyderco in use, review/feedback thread

Excuse my newness to the forum, hopefully I am not bringing up something that has been re-hashed endlessly. I see a lot of side-by-side or side-by-side-by-side comparisons, with exhaustive cutting and comparison of the resulting edges/damages. My question is this, given the different properties of ...

I'm with you brancron. Endura is a fave for me too.
I have tons of more expensive knives but more often than not it's a good old Endura in my pocket ;)

Re: Cruwear Endura

There has been no word. I thought for sure we would have seen a Grey/Satin Cruwear Endura or Dragonfly by now as a follow up to last year's Delica. Or at least a rerun of the Delica given the popularity. It sold out within hours/minutes at every dealer, and most dealers limited it to 1 per customer...

Cruwear Endura

When the Cruwear Delica came out some time ago I became very excited about the prospect of an Endura in one of my favorite steels.
Seems like an obvious homerun :)
Any idea on why there has not been any word on this?

Re: Manix2 LW Rex45

Have a Rex M2LW coming from Knives Ship Free. Interested to see how it stands up HT wise to the Mille.
My only concern with this model is keeping the pivot clean & lubed given I can't take it apart.

I wish the Manix Backlock had removable scales. I've been considering trying to cut the (one, random) pin in mine to take it apart and build some more rounded scales. Has anyone done that?
I just used a mill file and rounded the edges of the G10. Took 10 min. Much better.

Re: Any Spyderco Military sprint runs or exclusives coming out besides REX45?

I love my 204p military. I think the s90v/ti frame lock variant (I believe it was a Knifeworks exclusive) is the nicest one I've ever seen (and I do own that one too). I'd _love_ to see a 4v military. Cruwear or 3v would be amazing as well. Totally agree Tom. Two of my favorites to carry. I've sent...
