The Phillips reminds me a bit of the Tim Wenger hunter from years ago.

I’ve had several full flat ground over the years. Some by Krein, others by Southard. Good stuff as long as long you don’t need oodles of edge retention. It’s about as good as I’d ever need.

I guess I’ll never know... we are a gluten free household.

Does no one remember the great wait of 2010? The coveted KW G-10 / Ti / CPM-M4 Military? Now that was a long wait. Well worth it, though.

That’s an interesting lock. I remember wanting a TimberLite Folder in the worse way. I finally got one and was underwhelmed by the Neely Lock. When cutting thick cardboard and pulling the blade through, the possibility of unlocking it is pretty great. It’s a fun mechanism, but it’s always been more ...

Got mine today. It’s very thin overall, and that’s fine by me! The nested liners are interesting, they are only maybe 50% the width of the handle. I like it a lot, well done Spyderco.

Being a collector who’s first steel buzzword was ATS-34, and then BG-42, I’d sure like to see a modern version of those in a Sprint. A Military, Para 2, or Manix 2 would be great :)

I’d definitely be down for a fully serrated Military with all of the new CQI changes.
