Re: The Official Gun Brand and Caliber Debate thread!

I'm thinking about getting my first HK, a USP Compact 9mm. I need it like a hole in the head but we all know how that goes with knives and guns.

That's interesting because it tells me $10. I wonder what determines who gets what discount.

Re: Crazy deals @ Sierra and other places

I think if you check again it's a $10 credit for no pouch but if it's $15 for $99.99 that's even better.

Re: Crazy deals @ Sierra and other places

Massdrop has the Para 3 for $114.99 including a case. You can decline the case and get the knife alone for $104.99. That's provided six more people opt in during the next six days.

Re: Crazy deals @ Sierra and other places

MassDrop has the dogtag folder now for $49 if 10 are sold and dropping to $45 if 20 are sold, a decent savings from the $55 online price.

I was just on my way to post that one too. I've been seriously considering this one and that's a good deal compared to online store around $259.

Re: Crazy deals @ Sierra and other places

My Native 5 is just a Native 5 but after 3 for 3 upgrades on Blue Box Delicas I can't complain. The Military a couple posts up isn't a Blue Box but still not a bad deal compared to ordering online elsewhere.

Snap/button the pants and zip them up. Turn the pockets out and then turn the pants inside out. The pockets are out to release lint etc. but still protected by the pants from premature wear.

Re: How did you develop your preferences?

I don't know a lot about knives. I couldn't tell more than a thimble full about steels and locks and etc.. I'm a knife carrier and rarely a knife user. I proofread and copy edit for about a dozen authors so there's no work for a knife in my work. For me it's all about is it high quality and does it ...

Nope, don't go to any of them, unless I know they are not posted and metal detector free. I get a better seat and better multiple views at home in my recliner and plasma tv anyway.

White vs. Yellow box labels

Most of my boxes have white labels but a few have yellow. What, if anything, does it signify and why the difference?
