Re: My new Slysz Bowie
Interesting clip swap.
Beautiful folder. I keep drooling over these. I will have to pick one up eventually, just haven't pulled the trigger quite yet.
Happen to have any photos of it next to your Techno in comparison for size reference?

Is Super Gold also referred to as Kingami, as in wrapped in golden paper? Is it a Hitachi steel like Super Blue and ZDP-189? Will Super Gold be a laminate in these applications for Endura/Delica/etc.? Also, sounds to me like many people asking for pointier blade and a choil just need to pick up a St...

Re: Tenacious durability?
I leave mine in a tool cart in my shop as a quick grab beater knife. Has done quite well, even when using to do all the things you shouldn't use a folding knife for like pry on things or lightly hammer on the spine to get bearing races off and other things like that. Never sharpened it. No noticeabl...

oh yeah I forgot about the stonewashed Taichung models when I asked that question. I have a Techno too, lol, just slipped my mind. So, how about an official "debut" for the Mini PM2 as this forum knife?!? ...and since I'm a newcomer to this forum, do voters on this poll really have early a...

A mob of yojis. The title mispelling still gets me.
I honestly liked it better before you chamfered the last 2 "knuckles", but left the first untouched. Looks good open, but doesn't look uniform when closed. Either way though, beautiful blade!

Think we'll ever be lucky enough to see Micarta again? And has Spyderco ever done a factory released stonewash? How about a PM2 w/ M4 blade (I have no experience with this steel), DLC coated, and dark maroon/dark blood red G10 scales and black hardware/compression lock. Or a PM2 Salt with Spyderedge...

Legit Mod. Worthy of a bump here. Just saw a link here from another thread.

Re: My ode to the Dice
Just picked up a Dice! So much enjoyment in this little flipper. Incredibly smooth just like my BBS Domino. Cannot put it down! I also like the basket weave CF scale better than I thought I would have based on photos. Didn't know it had a texture. Might just put a deep carry clip on it and leave it ...

Maybe that new Cleaver that is supposed to be coming this year?
I love my Breeden Rescue (and dig my little 555HG w/ Wilkinsgrip also) and that Cleaver caught my eye.
Benchmade had that Bone Collector collaboration also, which from what I remember was a similar blade to what you say you like.

Re: UKPK Bit Me
This is why I don't own a UKPN, or any non locking folders. I like my fingers (I still end up cutting myself though). Not like you can't cut yourself with any blade out there, fixed, locking, slip joint, etc. Use a blade and you're bound to get a cut here or there. What's even worse is having a bla...

That sounds logical, with the popularity of the PM2 and probability of it already having its own sprint run, why not vote for something else we might not otherwise see!

Re: New Delica Problems
Atleast it did not make its way into the hands of a fresh new Spyderco owner or someone looking to just try the brand for the first time. Those impressions may have dug deeper into their memory and left a bad taste, compared to those of us who know the typical level of high quality. Exactly. There ...
