My M390 Millie had one or two such very distinct grind marks and it was purchased at SFO.

Since getting it, my blade now has several distinct scratch marks from the SM. I just adore it more now

I keep mine in my pocket. It's a cold damp place but its there when I need it. I seem to be going to very dangerous places recently. With strange people, one can't be too careful.

The first was a SAK to my best friend. He still has it which is good. The second was a CS Rajah III to a chap named Raja. He loved it. The third was a Spyderco Manix 2 XL last Christmas to a friend from the Netherlands. I think he likes it. Not sure though.

You know, when I pre-order stuff, they have a tendency to turn up with other suppliers first. I hope you have better luck than I did.

Manix 2 XL ? Its a stout and strong knife. Not that expensive either. The Tuff would be my first choice, second will be the Manix 2 XL and thirdly, the Military.

I envy the members who get to go to these meets. You all get to see the prototypes and even handle them. And the you know how well the production knives reflect these prototypes when they are available.

KC got their stock. I'm getting mine.

I got a SS Endura before I got a Manix 2 XL. Not the best to compare with but they were two totally different blades. I would say that you should buy what you like most.

True. For me, I did not think that it would be available so soon. KC usually gets stock much later than others. So I suppose I have a long wait.

The Tuff.

I like the ergos and how it feels in my hand. It's like having a small axe in my hand but one which can be used for minor cutting tasks as well. It's a one of a kind knife.

Sad that I missed it and pre ordered elsewhere at a higher price.
