I think you should get to order by date joining the forum. That would probably keep me fom getting one, but the thought of someone joining just to get a collectable that should go to a contributing member chaps my ***. I would like 1, and would use it, not horde it. If I don't get one so guys like J...

I still hate the choil, but prefer the Superleaf to the Para. Call me crazy but just not the biggest Para fan. I might try the Superleaf again sometime, but it justs needs more cutting edge is all I remember before trading it. The Caly 3.5 has kinda spoiled me with cutting edge to blade size ratio. ...

manix 2 xl/military $ question

I am curious as to why the M2 XL with jimped full liners, cbbl lock, ambi drilled and tapped clip and an equal or larger stock of s30v is sold for around $100 and a basic Millie with much smaller liners, a one way pocket clip, a less complex lock and the same or smaller stock of s30v is at least $30...

Thank goodness for you they make the D4 and E4 in many other flavors...P'Kal is wave removable. Much more of a problem on actual Emerson knives.

anybody using the Lil' Mat?

Curious how it has help up cutting things? What materials have you used it on? I was wondering if it was at this point a Cricket substitute

I will add one more that is a reverse if you will, the Millie. Hardore blade that carries like an edc and is ready to tackle any knife task. Shrinks in the pocket to half it's size...it is a grower and a show-er!

the "wolf in sheep's clothing" thread

After finding Spyderco and owning a bunch, I realize that there are many models that are a whole lot more knife than they appear. Could be a much more aggressive cutter than appears (cricket se), could be a benign gent-ish edc that fights off mountain lions (caly 3.5) or even the Schempp Balance end...

Twinboysdad, yep - Randy is my pusher-man/enabler. I went to BLADE 2012 with him last year - will go again this year, if we can. His new knife-seller sidekick, Johnny, is no slouch, his own self! They have the knives... I have a few myself... they are addictive! Randy knows me as 'J.T.'. Stainz Ran...

Only have one, and will seemingly always have it, the "Mark Greenman Good-Kit" Ladybug Hawkbill keychain set up. It would suck if not serrated. I prefer the understudy to be serrated and the large blade plain. I would love the option of the Manbug or Dragonfly in Hawkbill SE H1 though the ...

which sprint?

I can get either a CF Dodo or the Caly sprint for a good price, but not both. I am looking for a light user, possible sell down the road, not for profit but I like to flip them. My EDC is a Caly 3.5 and looking for a weekend carry and mix it up. So help me decide! Not a safe queen

Memeber Mark Greenman's review of the Ladybug Hawkbill got me to buy one. It is my keychain understudy to the Caly 3.5. I use it daily, and would not be without it. I have carried it at our pool for a whole summer and in the Gulf of Mexico for a 2 day vaca. It looks barely worse for wear. I also jus...

A special Leafstorm

My father has very selflessly helped my wife and I with tuition for my son's early intervention. I have twins and one is on the autism spectrum and due to the program he is in, he will start kindergarten on time and with his brother. Pops carries the same Kershaw Leek he has had for years and I gift...

Superleaf was almost my perfect knife...I wanted a Caly 3.5 on steroids. Wire clip, GREAT ergos, great lock, BUT the choil on the blade cuts right into the sweet spot of the belly. It takes the power out of the cut. I do consider this the stoutest Spydie I have handled, save the Tuff. I am too young...
