Re: First Spyderco. Efficient?

It's a bit of a conundrum. I think the efficient is a really cool looking knife, and you will have enough left over to buy a decent sharpening system you can learn to use. On the other hand the PM2 comes with a big steel upgrade and the very cool compression lock. You won't go wrong with either choi...

Re: Who would like a traditional slip-joint Spyderco?

I voted a big no, but just for fun I poorly photo shopped a traditional scale to a UK pen knife to see what it might look like.

I can't help think the Endura is for Spyderco what the 110 is for buck. It's a classic design that wraps up all the company's values in one affordable package. But I can't help feel that the designs have improved overtime. In my own case being new to Spyderco I went to buy an Endura as to me it seem...

Re: New here, just saying hi!!

Welcome, Randy. Where in Canada are you? I’m from Lethbridge. Also, have you tried BladesCanada? They have a lot of good stuff. Hi Jazz I live in Wetaskiwin, which is pretty close to Edmonton. I've seen blades Canada but I haven't ordered from them yet, but I did use them to price match my PM2 at m...

Re: New here, just saying hi!!

Welcome to the forum Randy! That is very cool about living in north Canada. Do you ever see polar bears and those sorts of creatures? Have you looked at the Spyderco main web page and the product guide and seen some of the assorted knives? What do you think of the Endura? Sadly I've only ever seen ...

Re: What would you like to see next from Byrd?

I would like to see a glass breaker on the rescue model. I think the price and a glass breaker would make it a good gift for giving friends to keep in their vehicles encase of an emergency.

New here, just saying hi!!

Hi everyone! My name is Randy, and I live way up north in Canada. For most of my life I wasn't really a knife guy, but that changed a couple of years ago when a co-worker was showing me his assisted opening knife. I just had to have one because of the novelty of it. I feel like my knife collecting h...

Re: Is the Military too big or big enough?

Hi i'm new here and new to Spyderco. I just wanted to chime in. I've gone on a huge binge and bought a PM2, PM3, and two Military's (Blurple S110V, and S90v Carbon fiber titanium) in the past few weeks. The PM2: This is the knife got me into loving Spyderco. When I first held it I just never felt li...
