I would like one.
But the last time this came up the consensus was that for the money, there were better options. One issue was having replaceable blades.

Re: Caribbean Troubles
Disassemble and try to reassemble it again. You might have to do this a few times. I have had pretty good luck with my leaf se caribbean. I have taken it apart 3 times and always got it back together like it was out of the box. My stop pin started rattling as well. Was told to use a little grease. F...

Re: Spyderco Dodo in LC200N
Unless you are going to make the entire knife a salt, then I dont see the point of using lc200n over other stainless options.

Re: Spyderco Throwing Knives?
Is there any way to know if you have a first batch or not?
Is there a certain date code that after that date should be fine?

Re: Spyderco Throwing Knives?
I bought the large set. I broke a sliding glass door. I put them away.
It does say in the very well done instruction book with them to make sure theres nothing around you can break. Oh well.

Re: Serrated S30V??
The shaman is amazing. It has perfect ergos for me. Im also not a choil grip kind of guy but I love the choil grip on the shaman as well.
My only issue is that its not as much of a slicer as other spydies. Which is good because it lets me carry more knives.

Re: It's H1, can't be rust. What is it?
I will guarantee it is rust transfer from one of the rivets on the sheath. I have had this happen with h1 and lc200n, always on fixed blades, and always from beeing left in the sheath and then the rivets of the sheath start to rust, and then the rust transfers onto the blade. Just scrub it off, you ...

Re: Knifecenter Exclusive Police4
I ordered one. Im really liking the police 4, its just such a good large slicer. Im really looking forward to the lightweight k390. I think it will be my beater police model. This one... will probably get some occasional use but I do plan on holding onto it. Seems the police models dont get the love...

Re: Native Salt owners?
Considering how I sometimes carry my salts, I actually loved the stiffness of the native 5 salt. My action has also broken in quite well and it will certainly drop close when the lockbar is fully depressed. The spring is fine with me. It is still tighter than my other native 5s, but im fine with it.

Re: Centering the blade of a PM2
So I was just looking at my pm2 maxamet, which was from the run before this one. My blade is slightly warped but its hard to notice and I can live with it. But my knife also had the worst looking edge bevel (on the show side) of any spyderco I have received. Of the few stonewashed spydies I have, my...

My super power is being humble. I am so humble it is unbelievable. I dont even have to try at it. I am probably one of the most humble people in the world.

Re: Show Your Patina!
Very nice voodoo! I'm with you. I much prefer natural aged patina, rather than a forced pattern. I've noticed the part of the blade that gets the darkest is the thumb hole right where I open the blade Hey Holland, thanks. I have also noticed the thumb hole seems to patina more. It makes me wonder h...

More materials, more removal, more grinding, etc.
I like spydercos fixed blades but they are also much more of a folding knife company. Whatever you are producing more of is where you can start saving on cost.

Re: Have you owned a Spyderco lockback with zero play?
I already ate crow on this about a year ago. I said I had a backlock with no play and then came back after I realised it had a tiny bit of play and I just hadnt noticed. I dont have time to check them all right now. I will say there is definitely a lot of variation in the amount of play. I think thi...

Re: Show Your Patina!
I really like how a natural patina comes along even if it doesnt look as good. I am really looking forward to the k390 police 4 lightweight. I have a feeling it will take over my pocket and I will use it for almost everything. Cant wait to start getting a patina on it when I get one Heres where my 5...

T8 clip screws
I never noticed until the other day but my Manix 2 backlock uses T8 torx screws. It still uses a standard spoon clip though. As far as I can tell its the same threaded inserts although I havent tried switching screws out but it looks the same. Since there are torx screws with a T8 sized head that wi...

Re: Smooth Contoured PM2
Im really not sure the pm2 needs it. It really doesnt bother me as far as contouring goes. I find the pinky area a little bothersome in a very hard grip but that is only because the non choil grip is a tad bit short for me. The manix 2 however, I wouldnt mind some contouring. The different ergos jam...
