Re: Late to the party: what is missing in the catalog

Well, you guys hit it right on the head. The k390 police and chief are certainly tempting. Who doesn’t like k390? And that chief looks amazing. Just haven’t pulled the trigger yet. We know a backlock can have thin blade stock. Just look at the chaparral. I think the thicker blade stock on the manix ...

Late to the party: what is missing in the catalog

So, I finally got a manix backlock. Yes, I’m late to the party. I like the regular manix but this is better. Things I like: The “fine” finish on the g10 is great. How have we not seen this on more knives. We see “smooth” but not this “fine”. We need more of the fine finish. 4 way clip on this is nic...

Re: Knifejoy Exclusive Para Military 2

I love the color. Want to see this color in person. I also think this would be a good starting point to get other rit dye greens that are close to this. Slightly darker shamrock green, really dark British racing green, etc.

Are you guys serious about this? Is it that dangerous to go shopping where you live?
Not dangerous where I live. Probably one of the safest places on the planet. I use a 3” edc. Comfortable in pocket and enough blade to handle just about all my regular tasks.

Re: NFL Season: 2019-2020

Jd, I looked up the team stats for your chiefs. They are highly ranked on the passing game (2nd in passing yards). The run game is ranked 22nd. The defense is ranked 12th against the pass and 30th against the run. Seems a bit one dimensional on both sides of the ball. A little more balance would ser...

Re: Knives I wish I had bought two of

Hindsight is 2020. There are some knives but I wish I had bought two of when they were still in production. One is the Manix 2 back lock and the other is the urban light weight K390. What knives do you regret not buying a second? I’m with ya there. Manix2 Backlock is probably my favorite Spydie.......

Re: Shaman Cru-Wear Sprint Run release ?

So I had given up on the lottery and figured all the knives had already been distributed. Then Blade HQ called me today to let me know I had been chosen. Felt like Charlie in the Chocolate factory. They said they had quite a few people not respond within the 48hr time period so they are still drawi...

Re: NFL Season: 2019-2020

Well here we are in week 12. Some really good matchups this week. The 49ers news is that their next 3 games are making NFL history. Never has a team played 3 consecutive games against teams with 0.800 winning percentage this late in the season. The next three games are the packers, ravens, saints. O...

Re: 5G? What's The Deal?

Interesting. It appears that existing cell signals are around 1 to 6 GHz frequency. The 5g signal is much higher, up to 300 GHz. Maybe that difference is what harms the bees. I imagine that some exposure is fine, but with cell service, we blanket everything with these signals. We are probably better...

Re: 5G? What's The Deal?

Radiation my friend. When we went from 3g to 4g we gained 500 times faster data transmission. Going to 5g will be another 100 times faster. But, the 5g signal is a high frequency, which doesn’t travel as fast and is not as reliable. This means that the system will be transmitting 5g signals as well ...

Re: Please Help Me Buy a Flashlight!

I agree with what others have said. There is a lot of competition. Don’t remember why I went with the rechargeable olight but I’m really impressed. I was given a nebo slyde, which is a cool light but it started to malfunction on me. The olight has been perfect for the few years that I have had it. W...

Re: Opinions on serrated s30v?

I much prefer s30v and vg10 serrations to H1 because you can get them full flat grind. I guess the Caribbean has lc200n ffg, that would be good too. The serrated para 3 is one of my most used and it’s s30v. It’s fine as long as you have a sharpmaker to touch it up.

Re: New to the knife scene

Knives can be unexpected for personal reasons. Imagine buying that knife and finding out, it’s too big for you. Bigger than you expected. Or maybe too fat in the pocket. Or maybe you don’t like how the pocket clip works or where the thumb hole is. Maybe you live in a humid environment and non-stainl...

Re: NFL Season: 2019-2020

Picks this week? Nope. It’s a weird week with a lot of teams around 0.500 playing each other. Baltimore vs Houston looks like the best game to watch this week. Dolphins have a 2 game win streak, could they surprise buffalo? 49ers on a short week with a lot of injuries. Wouldn't be surprised if they ...

Re: NFL Season: 2019-2020

Kaepernick went to the Super Bowl in 2012. He didn’t even play that full season but was a replacement. After that there were 31 teams watching film to figure him out and his stats went down for the next 4 years. He can’t see the field. He is a one read and run guy. He can’t find the open receiver. H...

Re: Shaman Cru-Wear Sprint Run release ?

With Spyderco there are really no bad choices. Just some maybe less optimal, (whether in reality or perception), or less desirable on a personal preference basis. I don't sweat the ones that get away. Wait long enough and one will come up at a reasonable price in the secondary market...or something...

No, the joke is you not realizing that, had that helmet been turned around the other way, it could've very easily killed Mason Rudolph. That was way beyond any code. That was flat out lethal had that helmet been turned the other way. It might as well been considered a dam anvil in the hands of Garr...

Re: NFL Season: 2019-2020

Rick, you remember bountygate? The whole saints team was paid for injuries to opposing players. The whole team... no one was saying, “for the integrity of the game, I don’t believe in hurting other players.” They were cashing checks. It didn’t go on for a few weeks. It was a few years. On a team tha...
