Paul, your generosity is boundless. I tip my hat to you, sir.

Welcome, Marty. The Delica was my first Spydie too. It's a timeless classic. No doubt it will serve you well.

Re: Do you hoard your Spydercos?

I don't have enough to hoard, and I'm trying to be ok with that. Trying. I do find it somewhat ironic that many true Spyderco experts do advocate "pre-need replacements," since they know best that Spydercos can even withstand serious hard use and not break down. Guess even the most knowled...

I hear ya, BTG. Just doesn't seem possible that such a unique, intelligently-designed beast of a blade that even has a compression lock can seriously be had for only about $50. :D

Re: Rhino

Hey Michael, thanks for taking the time to share your epic journey. It is such an impressive little beast you designed. No doubt it even has a bit of your positive karma built in as well. Can't ask for more than that! Looking forward to the Rhino and many more well-designed knives in the future with...

Re: Best spyderco under 100.00

The Chaparral 1 comes in at around $100. Definitely worth considering. A sophisticated slicer that works well in many situations. Carries so well too.

Totally agree. Not the gift-giver's call to make at that young age.

I think SpartanJohn wants me to adopt a dog, perhaps even a Goldendoodle. :D One day. Great to see all your "best friends" saving this thread. :)

Re: T shirt ideas

I remember that thread too. Cannot believe there's no selection of Spyderco apparel available. All that free branding that could be running around, it's a marketing no-brainer. Guess Spyderco is really that busy and totally focused on the actual product....which can easily be argued is a much better...

Re: Rhino

The Reinhold Rhino is now REAL! Congratulations, Michael! Very impressive "Little Big Knife." So many quality details in this little beast of a cutter. Well-designed ergos. Cool blade shape. Nested liners, nice touch. Looking forward to getting a hold of it. When the champagne eventually d...

Re: Mid year new product guide! Available June 2nd!

Anyone notice the cover of the supplement with some unidentifiable folders? Yes, as a matter of fact! The one model second from the top appears to have two or three fullers located in the blade. Say what?! Anyone ELSE notice something very, very interesting about the giant "thumbs up?&qu...

Re: Unabridged Unapologetic Case for the Para Military 2 Left Hand *

I bought a LH Millie but it's bigger than what I prefer to carry. I still don't own a PM2, but I'd definitely buy a LH model in whatever configuration. Maybe pick a new color for the G10? S30V or similar is just fine for me. I agree, and am psyched to see more and more fellow lefties carrying the f...

Re: Chaparral FRN????

...... I hope the copper/bronze idea comes to life in the future and I'd be very happy if a wood or bone material were to be used. Maybe one day we will see pure gold handles :D an ounce of gold on each side? $2500 chaparral lol Copper/bronze did sound like it really was going to happen. Would love...

Re: Chaparral FRN????

Big fan of my Chap 1. I assume the treatment/design of the FRN would be updated in some way, not the typical style. Will probably be popular as it won't be continuing on up that Chaparral pricing staircase to the moon. Still, I was hoping for the next Chap to introduce a new, modern material. C-Teck...

Rookie Mistake Confessional

I'm still making rookie mistakes. But I am learning. Perhaps other rookies reading this can too. That is, if veterans cast ego aside and fess up to their "back in the day" royal Spyderco screw ups. The more embarrassing the error in judgment, the more impressive it is to share now, here. M...
