Dann, I got my SE version a few months ago at a really low price. (around $45, NIB) It turned out to be a much better knife than I expected. The handle is a little slicker than I'd like, particularly if there was blood and/or goo in the area. However, I've had worse handles. You can always tape it, ...

The pattern has been established for some time. If we do not speak up, do not vigorously politically oppose the anti-knife crowd, we'll see the situation erode to the point where ALL knives are banned. The airlines have provided us with a microcosm over the past several years, culminating with the p...

I worry A LOT about the lock. Why? Because of the stiffness modulus of elasticity of FRP which allows the handle to deflect and distort, thereby allowing significant out-of-plane loads to occur. This can potentially result in catastrophic and unpredictable failure. Another factor is that the reinfor...

Pachucks, I have to agree. Which, I guess, is okay for a throw-away knife vs one BG. The damage I'd consider as potentially deadly would come from one mighty Pi$$ed-Off BG and/or his buddies AFTER the failure. But, I guess, if a lone BG received a vcious slash, was bleeding like a stuck pig and had ...

Millie Combo - Feedback, Please
I'm not much into combo edges; I find them to generally be bad compromises without enough length to use either the straight or serrated edge. However, the Military is a good-sized knife and so might be an exception. The new Combo Millies have been out long enough for some of you to have experience w...

My EDC is a Military. I've rotated it with others, including a very nice large Sebenza, but I always go back to the Military. It's a terrific knife, once you get over being self-conscious of its size. It's light, durable, takes and holds a great edge, really cuts with great ergonomics. What else cou...
