That's a wild thing to worry about, but yes you'll be fine with a ticn blade.
Not so wild thing, I've mentioned this issue myself a couple of times here in this forums.

I don't have light sensitive eyes but still it is a real annoyance when working on direct sunlight.

Re: Aqua Salt with other steels? Would you be interested?

I don't understand the push back on people wanting Magnacut in this blade. If you don't want that steel, that's fine as Aqua Salt is already made in one of the easiest to sharpen steels made, H1. It's all moot anyway as the Aqua seems to be on the way out. I do believe that we, knife nuts, are our ...

Re: Aqua Salt with other steels? Would you be interested?

I agree that one of the best things about the Aqua Salt is its handle. And the fact that it's not full tang is what makes it perfect, in this particular model. The blade shape is amazing, the overall balance, the light weight, all combined make a very fine knife, that it's not easy to find in the ma...

Re: Aqua Salt with other steels? Would you be interested?

I have one, PE.
It is a great knife and it saddens me to know it may be discontinued.
I'd like to have it available in MagnaCut or other salt line steel.

Re: Delica : Saber grind or FFG?

I have both, the FFG is the way to go.
On another note, the hollow grind Pacific Salt cuts miles better than the hollow grind Salt 2. The Delica size just isn't enough for an appropriate high hollow.

Re: Aqua Salt / Fish Hunter in Magnacut or LC200N

I have an Aqua Salt, here are some random thoughts: The longer the blade, the "easier to sharpen" factor is more important - H1 fits well here. The ergonomics are really good, and the knife is very light; On my opinion, it deserves a better sheath. The current one is bulky. A dangler or lo...

Re: I Went Crazy

Where's the Delica? Is the Delica 4 different enough from a Para 3 LW that I should experience one as well? I know that the blade stock is thicker on the Para 3, but that’s why I’m also getting a Chaparral. It was actually a pretty tough decision between a Delica and PM3 LW (this was my first knife...
