I like all Spyderco locks except for the CBBL. I just find it fiddly and clumsy in use. I know most people seem to like it but I avoid this lock.

It's a shame the new Manix XL from Knifecenter has it. If it had been a back lock I'd definitely get one.

I don't hunt anymore but 100% I would buy this. Still keen to buy another Sprig as well if Spyderco does a re-run. K390 is a good choice. I hope this doesn't change into a thread of "yeah, but do it in this SS or that".

Good job on the survey. I did not read the whole thread so I apologize if it's already been said. It will be interesting if the results match Spyderco's own sales data.

Probably late to the game with the regarding steel discussion. I would have liked an intermediate steel like XHP to have been used. A bit better edge retention than VG10 but still easy to machine.

I cant imagine a hybrid between the 2 knives. I can imagine a Military 2 with a back lock.

The Stretch XL in K390 will be my first K390 blade when it comes out.

Did CS already run an orange satin P3 LW in XHP? I have a G10 version but I didn't see the LW in a satin blade.

The GB2 is beautifuly thin behind the edge, A fantastic cutting tool. IMHO the bet blade on any Spyderco. It's a shame they don't put similar racecar blades on other models.
