Re: 9/11 never forget, never forgive

My post was not geared towards the different scandals and political spin doctors. I think we should honor the average guy/gal who gets up every day to earn an honest living by protecting the life and limbs of the general public because he/she is a cop, firefighter, paramedic, nurse, soldier. I'm tal...

9/11 never forget, never forgive

Let's all remember 9/11. Now 22 years ago.
Let's not forgive the sacrifice people made during these times and those who gave life, limb or sanity in the resulting wars against extremism.

We remember.

Re: Yojumbo as EDC

I don't see any problem with carrying the yojumbo. The only drawback is the fact that you almost need a second smaller blade to cut anything in public.
For it's intended it works very well

Re: Spyderco matriarch 2 or Harpy ( for a women with little hands)

The harpy is not very suited for self defense due to its hawkbill blade. The Matriarch is designed as a slashing weapon. But the yojimbo is a better alround knife. I would recommend Filipino Martial Arts to start using a knife in a defensive matter of get lessons in modern knife fighting ( Janich, S...

Re: Caregiving 101: Suggestions?

Hey JD. Just a little tip. Take time to take care of yourself as well. Burnout is a real danger as a caregiver. The psychological feeling of "guilt" when you take some me-time can be very strong. You can't take care if you don't take care of yourself. Best wishes and thank you for your care

Re: WTC help

The molds of the handle where destroyed after the production. The chance of finding spare parts is slim to nothing. Iirc there are still pieces of the beam found in SFO.

Another 2 weeks sans Military 2, but at least I'm starting to see more listings in Europe, maybe that's a good omen?
Where did you find the postings in Europe?

Re: Military 2 Discussion (Merged)

Eric did tell us in Amsterdam that the Military 2 would be 50 USD cheaper then the Military due to enhanced/faster/ easier manufacturing.

Re: Edgerati Prototype

It's like the old R model. Handled it, felt really weird due to the ultralight handle. Made the knife blade heavy. Didn't do anything with me.

Re: Military 2 Discussion (Merged)

I think the Military 2 feels like a PM2 on growth hormones. And i think they made a military 2 because we have been asking for a military with a compression lock for years and a four way clip. They made one. Now we have two models. If the military 2 sells well they will probably retire the Military ...

Re: Why don't you Baton?

The O.P. probably means Machete instead of Manchette. They use this word in French speaking countries. As the Machete (pronounced macheite in most of Africa) is made in Carbon steel i presume he means 1075 carbon steel.
