Thanks for sharing the files. I made one in micarta with a cnc router. I think it came out really well. I think the pattern looks more interesting than simple crosshatching.

Those CNC micarta scales look great!

I feel like all types of micarta don't act the same once oils and other stuff get in them. I have some linen micarta that just get super slippery, and some canvas that just does not change when it comes to grip ! I also have some Terotuf, that seems to not even absorb the oils :thinking Same experi...
