Welcome to the forum Eric. As mentioned Ferric Chloride does an excellent job etching steel. I would probably practice up a bit before you jump in on your knife. You can use rubber cement to block out portions of the blade you do not want etched. Probably be best to try and search the Internet for m...

Two great knives. I really wish they would not have discontinued the G10 Caly3 such a great little knife, as for the UKPK the Ti version is one of my all time favorites. Actually have the UKPK on me right now. congrats again on the great scores!

Well I still have no Southard,no luck finding it. I am really in a situation as to buy another one or not, basically it comes down to three knives Southard, Techno, or wait on the Ti Native what to do. I know I will end up with one again sometime soon just trying to decide which will be priority.

The problem with loaning knives and tools is not that they don't come back it's the condition they they return in after being used to pound, pry and cut nails with. As far as OP buying a nother knife, It's always a good time to buy another knife. Just hang on to them so the collection grows. I was j...

I have never lost a Spyderco mainly because I DON'T LOAN KNIVES, TOOLS, OR GUNS and I really never have trusted the clips on knives to hold.I always carry in the pocket of my Levis.I like the clip because it gives extra gripping power to the knife handle. Also knives work better in a self defense m...
