Sadly things keep getting worst. One of the reseller posted a picture of a document showing some of the counterfeit that will be released soon. Seems like they adapted a few models and made them liner lock.

Re: Spyderco knife for carving turkey?
Get in your local butcher work room dare to approach a serrated knife from his Filet mignon.
On a cooked turkey, I guess most wouldn't say a thing or at least have lesser reactions.

4000th post ! Forum won't let me edit the first five post so I'll update the list with a direct link when the bug is corrected. New variation of knife I thought to be the Domino, but the next post will show you otherwise: Stamped as H1 blade, lower blade profile making it less of the leaf style, mai...

Re: Caly 3.5 or PM2?
My hand isn't that big, but not small either. My palm is about 4.25" wide. It makes the last wave on the stretch handle that should be used to rest my little finger against to avoid slippage to sit directly in the middle of my little finger when I grip it. To avoid this unconfortable hotspot, I...

Re: Edge retention as influenced by apex finishing grit
Your thread get me thinking of a poll I started somewhat like 6 months ago about what people prefered as grit finish on the edge and low/high carbide steel. On the light use part of the poll, none out of 22 voted for a grit ranging from 120 to 500, 8 voted for the grit 600 to 1200 and 14 voted for 1...

Seems to me you really like to insult people.
Care to show us you can do more then useless bashing and bring something useful to the forum?
Edit: Just read your next comment. No need to keep going on. I'm done with you and back to the OP subject if ever more has to be said.

Re: Thoughts on Ankerson's cut testing results
Nope. Didnt I already state my reasons. In short, many threads are becoming unreadable because of Cliff's attitudes. Believe me, I'm speaking for a majority. Somebody's gotta do it, I dont want to lose this forum. Cliff has his own forum for that. Don't PM me. Why don't you go "+1" anothe...

As long as the arguing brings something useful to me in the end. New knowledge, whatever it is, is good to me. Even if it means learning I was wrong, or maybe right for once... or neither?

Against science, accusing people of shilling, making claims about a person'a integrity by saying they cannot accept negative feedback......To Cliff, he is never wrong, never about him. He is correct, you are wrong. And some listen/read this guy and think he's the next coming. He's human, a laughing...

Not the place to argue? Pretty losy to me. "Hey! Let's make a forum for discussion about Spyderco knife but I want no arguing. If someone is wrong on a technical point let it be it's not the place to explain and have people grow and learn. Let's only say how we like something because of absolut...

Re: Caly 3.5 or PM2?
I'll take a Stretch over either, but I do own a Caly 3.5 and it's a great slicer with good ergos, a blade of reasonable thickness, minimal closed length for a 3.5" blade and it's totally hand neutral. The PM2, to me, is a collection of negatives. Too thick a blade, housed in too bulky a handle...

I don't know what's your sharpening gear, but maybe you should consider getting a sharpmaker first?

Re: Endura4 Foliage Green or Para Military camo?
If you want something sharp and easy to sharpen go with the Super Bleu Stretch or endura. Won't regret it. I personally find the Stretch slightly too little for my hand as my fingers feel recessed and love the endura handle better. If you have handle estate left on the endura, you could get the stre...

Re: Thoughts on Ankerson's cut testing results
I tried that, I really didn't like the outcome as it generated too much misinformation. The problem is that once you condense being a certain point then the summary isn't really true any more because you have lost the constraints. For awhile I did exactly that, I would do something like : -Extremel...
