I suppose a "dealer" could commission a run of them if they wanted to?
I wonder if the tooling for the police pendant is still around.

Re: Mantra: Long Term Review and Thoughts
My Mantra II is the only Delica I've owned or handled. I like how the blade disappears into the handle making it very pocket friendly. The M4 is a nicely added bonus. It is also my first wire clip which I feel matches nicely with the handle material. I feel that the Mantra models are the ultimate ev...

Re: Knife too thin
Yes. Long ago, in "The Dark Times" -- before I was introduced to the wonderful world of Spydie's, I had a SOG SlimJim XL, in theory it seemed like a good idea, super slim, should carry in the back pocket well. First day of carrying it, the third time I used it I think, but the first time ...

Re: My first Spydiechef ... I love it but ...
Nice work Marius! Looks great. Did you try pencil lead on the lock yet? CK No Sir I didn't but I hear people saying that is useless or at least it will work for a while only ... I didn't expect that much lock stick, it's quite annoying... I wonder if that lock bar face is carburized or something......

Just got my PakLite 9V light. Low and medium - you can just see the recessed, three position black toggle switch on the white GITD (glow in the dark) light head - L low, R med, center off. Got the warm white LED - nice little light. Developed for a Pacific Crest Trail trek. https://i.imgur.com/65tI...

Spyderco does not do mods.
You could send the 2 knives to a private modder & have them do the work for you.

Re: Caring for Spyderco PITS
I recently purchased a PITS. I relubricated it with mineral oil, but after doing so I realized a small dab of grease has been placed right into the detent on the blade, and might have been serving an important function. I know there is a high load between the titanium handle and blade on that point...

Re: Pendant knife
Maserin miniatures are $18 to $70 and have single or multiple blades and inserts in the handles. How they do it for those prices I don't know but obviously there are ways to manufacture with CNC machines now. I'm sure a little hand fit and finish would be required. I think the Police necklace origi...

They are really nice, did you do those? I agree, these are really well done. They were done by Santa Fe Stone Works. https://santafestoneworks.com/collections/spydercos-collection I only said China made to (hopefully) significantly lower the price. The bug is about $10, so grade 2 Ti slabs (easier ...

Re: Pendant knife
If its only Titanium and LC200N, $200+ for a knife the size of the Bug is a very hard sell for me. For something that is primarily jewelry, I also wouldn't buy it if it was made in China. It would need to be the most premium of premium materials for me to get behind it. Bug and Honeybee with Apple ...

Welcome & Happy New Year. That is an excellent level of scratching that you've done. I wonder how this would look on one of our titanium models? Thank you. 😊 Titanium would work well I think. A good level of contrast is often achieved with Titanium! 👍 A nice candidate for titanium would be the ...

Re: Pendant knife
I have all the pendants made so far, plus a few Hummingbirds so I'm not going to stop if another one is made. Oh, and of course I have 3 daughters and a wife that will want one. Any chance of a pendant group photo? https://i.imgur.com/ClADAb7.jpg?1 Thanks for the photo. I appreciate it.👍
