Spyderco does not do mods.
You could send the 2 knives to a private modder & have them do the work for you.

I recently purchased a PITS. I relubricated it with mineral oil, but after doing so I realized a small dab of grease has been placed right into the detent on the blade, and might have been serving an important function. I know there is a high load between the titanium handle and blade on that point...
