I personally would prefer the delica. I have a progrip as EDC right now. It is a tough knife in a sense, but IMO not anything more than a delica. The blade is thicker, the tip is stronger, but lockup is average. IMO, I don't think the kraton clip grip is really any use either. I think if you bent do...

college is tough.

Thanks again to hawkbill for backing me up when I was broke.

I mainly needed the cash for the upcoming Christmas, which I think went well.

thanks, spydernut.

I also prefer adidas waaay over nike for footwear, as Nikes also do not go over my feet well.

But the ACGs were cheap at the PX and were the best of the little selection.

They are still stiff as a rock.

School. I'm making the best of it, at least. If anyone is nearing that time to consider college, or perhaps is going to send a child, consider University of Michigan. It ain't bad. Here's one I took of my campus in light of the tolkien movie, "the two towers." The towers are located on Nor...

Jsmith, yea. I don't believe in buying new clothes or apparel or shoes or anything. I have the same pair of tennis shoes that I wore when I was a sophmore in high school. there's no tread on the bottom left, and my toe sticks out one of them a bit. But they are real comfortable, and well broken in. ...

OT breaking in boots

Hi all. School's officially started again. Hope everyone is well. I wanna talk about boots. First off, I wanna say I have two pet peeves. I think. One, is people who eat slow. And I'm a pretty laid back guy, but I got this friend who eats like a cow... "munch munch munch...swallow...hurk!!(regu...

wow, that's tough.

I'm not sure if we are the people you should be asking for that. That sort of stuff is the kind of thing thats supposed to come "from the heart."

The times I got knives engraved, I just put my dad's name on it.

I think it would be hard to get a Harpy engraved, as the new ones have a hole cutout in the SS handle for drying purposes. Most jewelers can do engraving. I've had two dragonflies engraved before for gifts, and I had them both done at a local jeweler for about 6 dollars a piece. But that depends wha...

The dreaded spine whack... Justified???

So what do you all think about the spine whack test? I know, there is a lot of dispute over this matter: either "knives weren't made for that intended purpose!" or "if it fails the whack it may fail in other circumstances." So what does everyone think about the spine whack? Justi...

and I'm saying it's not that an old knife can't be tactical, but that just because it's old doesn't mean it is.

But hey, to each his own. I've never been in a knife fight and never plan to be in one.

Hey all, I hope everyone had a good weekend. I was shocked and surprised at that list. The Buck 110? I can't imagine it. Ok, it was one of the firsts... But just cause it's an original knife doesn't make it tactical. Seems to me that "tactical" refers to new age and "cutting edge"...

Just hangin out, finishing off my turkey day break... Does anyone have a pic of the Spyderhawk and Native III? Because I have no idea what either is. Quick searches on google don't pull much on either. Did they just make changes to the Native? And I'm assuming.. the Spyderhawk is a hawkbill blade?
