Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

Well today was an off day, since my boss was tested positive for Covid yesterday... I've had time to do some gear re-organizing and a much needed bout of guitar practice :) https://files.catbox.moe/zjehjj.jpg I love seeing people post photos of knives I actually have. Are you a big fan of the REX C...

I meant to upload my pic for the last week contest but winners were chosen just before. I hadnt seen the message !

Is it okay if I put my submission for this week later on?
Pretty sure no one's going to check the metadata of your shot to see if it's been taken in the current week :grimace

Used the K390 Endela to slice cucumbers for my lunch. Did a fine job! I honestly think I could toss all my other knives and get by easily with just the Endela. But that'll never happen.
I'm that way with the Military. Probably the only knife I'd gladly own duplicates of in different steels.

Re: Community Sharpening Journal

Got my Rex 45 Chief in the mail, and in comparison I found my Millie not as sharp as I liked. A few passes on the black DMT, followed by two on each side on the Spyderco medium ceramic changed that in a hurry. I think I'll do those finishing passes in the future, it doesn't kill the micro serrations...

Re: Which spyderco is in the mail?

It's he-e-ere ! Looks phenomenal. The G10 has that very rough touch that I like. Very sharp but I'll put a fresh edge on it when it dulls. Scary pointy tip (that's not going to last) Only thing bugging me is the clip in tip-down not aligning with the pivot. Please tell me I'm not alone and there's a...

Re: Sage 1 Maxamet: This goes to 11

I just received my Sage 1 in Maxamet. Love the feel of this knife and would love to see a return of a Sage 1 with Carbon Fiber and S30V or some other stainless steel. Can the kind folks at Spyderco please do so? ;) And the perennial question: Force a patina or let it happen naturally? I did both, b...

I just can't seem to not take this one with me. The edge holding is phenomenal, even after use and abuse at the workshop, on sites and the rest of the day.

I won't ask to join since I'm pretty new to this forum. However, for future reference, I have a question : - Is there any member(s) of the Spyderco Swap that lives in France or Europe? It would be easier to trade/sell/buy, avoiding any issue with customs. Thanks for the answer, and superb idea and ...

Re: Which spyderco is in the mail?

Just got some unexepected money. I'm not settled yet between a N5 LW Maxamet and my first Native chief in S30V. I collect Native 5s, but I'm pretty sure the Chief is very good for me ! They both have the same price at my dealer... I've been on the fence about the Chief for a long time : no hump and...

Re: Which spyderco is in the mail?

So I snapped and bought a Rex 45 Chief. Gonna have to let the Chef go to justify it, but my experience with Rex in the Shaman was too amazing to let it pass.

Help identifying a Millie

Hey folks, Long time no see, I'm coming back to see if someone can help me determine if this C36 is a genuine article. I know there's been an orange G10 S30V model in the past, but the Spyder's position on the blade feels off. Here's the link : https://www.naturabuy.fr/Couteau-SPYDERCO-Milirary-item...
