Today I learned the Military has a 4mm blade. Holy crap. I was under the impression it was only 3 :O

4mm is the way to go :D

I'll put it this way; If I can open and close the Military2 one-handed (as easily as a Military), with a leather glove, I'll probably buy it. I wouldn't mind if they went for a 4mm blade either, as long as it was the same long leaf-shape, and FFG...OH! and as long as the blade LENGTH wasn't shortene...

I used to 'collect' Spyderco knives. Models I'd own just for the sake of owning and never use, because they were too pretty. Fortunately I came to my senses and realized that for me, its a giant waste of money. I sold everything that wasn't being carried, and now only will buy a knife, if its going ...

I love the Military and every time the Milie2 gets mentioned, I always have the same answer; I wouldn't change a thing. I like that the clip can't be changed, I don't want holes all over my handle. Tip-down is the best, easiest and fastest way to open the knife. Spyder-dropping for the win. New lock...

I don't have kids, but, I think positive re-enforcement is the best way to go; that is, making sure you praise and reward your child for doing something RIGHT.

Also, being firm in your punishments, and also consistent.

I think thats the simplest, IMO.

I'm quite sure only the serrated version is being disco'd, no?

edit: Nope, they both are being discontinued.

They are great knives!

I had a PE version last year, dyed the handle black. It looked great.

Warriors and Wonders has both colours in stock, but only SpyderEdge.

Probably a little more expensive, due to it being in Canada, but, they have 'em!

Ehh.

Its more than knife MODEL than knife STEEL for me.

I consider the Spyderco Military the greatest folding knife of all time (yes, of ALL TIME :D )

If they made a Military with another steel as regular production, I'd probably still buy it.

I think S30V is a fine steel. Would buy again!

Finger test on my Militarys. Sometimes ill shave a little hair off my arm too, but generally, I have a good feel for how sharp that S30V is just by fingers. Honestly, a lot of people obsess over their knife sharpness. I touch up my knives often, so they're generally extremely sharp, but no where nea...

Send to Spyderco.

Let them do what they do.

They'll send you back a functional knife.

Won't be as nice as a NIB original, but it'll be worth the cost of repairs to restore it.

Its a good knife.

I too would like to see/own a Spyderco Tomahawk! This is an official bump. My preference would be a hawk with a spike, just because it gives you the option of piercing thick material/skulls. As I read through the thread, I noticed there was an idea to release two hawks, one as a MBC hawk, and the ot...
