Re: Sharpening a Vagabond

I managed to snag a Vagabond a few years back at my gun shop and my one complaint is that the blade was too thick. It's a small knife but with 4mm stock it doesn't slice that well.

Re: Your top picks from Amsterdam 2015?

Definitely Getting: Nirvana, Vrango, Gayle Bradley2, Mamba, and maybe the Tighe.

Everything else doesn't really pique my interests or I would have no use for. I'd love to get a Szabohawk but it would end up being wall art and I couldn't bring myself to do that to a workhorse like that.

Re: Discontinued: But You Want It Back!!

I'd be in for a more full set of 701 profile set, as well as full SE Military. My 440V SE Millie has been a great work horse but it is getting a bit of play and I'm getting afraid to use it too hard because I won't be able to replace it

Ugh, looks like I'll need to pick up a Vrango now as well. I just can't say no to fun collabs!

Re: Amsterdam Meet 2015 report of upcoming Spyderco prototypes

S30V is nice, but 440V to me seems like a nice step in between S30V and S90V Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I never thought about S60V having better stain resistance than S30V. I know that S60V came out earlier than S30V. It was heat-treated to lesser Rc and was tougher and basically was repl...

Re: Amsterdam Meet 2015 report of upcoming Spyderco prototypes

One of the things that was unique about the original Lil Temp was the 440V. I wonder if this one will be available in ZDP. Are you already calling for sprint? :) BTW, I never understood a love for 440V. I was very glad, when I found S30V variant. I had a 440V Lil Temp but sold it, although I still ...

Holy mother of ... I need the Mamba. More than any other knife, that is a thing of beauty. I have absolutely no use for it, but I will have it. And the GB2 looks like a great user too. I love M4 and am always on the lookout for more tough users so once that one comes out I expect to be a poorer man

Me neither. Not my thing.

May we have the Southard Ion next?
I think Mr. Blonde usually goes alphabetically in posting the knives. At least, that's how it went last year

Re: IWA Janisong Video with Michael Janich

Oh my. I wonder how much it would cost to rent a PO box in Vancouver and then take an impromptu road trip to Vancouver for ... uhm ... no particular reason.

The US Version can't get here fast enough!

As an SF Giants fan, I never realized it until now but I need an orange LB to do a blade swap with.

Marked at $350, and the tip is broken just a little bit. Could probably negotiate down to $275~ but that's still too rich for my taste

Thanks! ..so..it's exclusively available to everyone via the Spyderco website? You don't have to buy it through USN? Will these be available through regular distributors as well? To the best of my understanding, they will only be available through Spyderco headquarters. (SFO or Spyderco.com) The 40...

Okay, just got back from the shop, is this the knife you were looking at?

As far as I'm aware it's not a Spyderco but there is a lot I still don't know about Spyderco so maybe someone else can chime in.

I see you're in NorCal, so I'm just wondering if you were at Castellos Gun Shop in San Jose? If so, I know the knife you are talking about, and it isn't a Spyderco. If it's the one I'm thinking of, it's got a really small hole, barely big enough to be able to use to open the knife, that sound about...
