Very nice little knives.

What about a small piece of that bead chain. Not sure of the proper name for it - often used for Military Dog Tags etc?

I'd really like to get one of the new catalogues as well.

Other manufacturers (eg Cold Steel) send them out on request. I'd like to think that Spyderco with such excellent service and great products could offer this to Forum members.

Hi Clint, I can't compare to the Rookie, as I don't have one, but I have a SS Delica Plain and it's most carried knife. The size is perfect for my needs - I've carried everyday fro 2 years in a corporate environment. The weight is perfect, not too heavy, but easily opens with a flick of the wrist. I...

I agree - bring on the 50/50 Military (I have a serrated and really like it) or even 60/40 - with a small serrated section at the pivot end of the blade.

The combo edge is only offered on too few models IMHO

I've just put the micrometer on mine - it's right on 5mm thick (plus about another mm for the small rivets that protude slightly).

I don't actually carry mine in my wallet - I found it a bit heavy - and a little fiddly to get out - but love the design - the blade is VERY sharp as mentioned above.

I'd have to say I was still a bit skeptical about any home sharpening product - I'd tried normal stones over the years on other knives without much joy. I was really impressesd with the ease of use of my Sharpmaker (it's the older model 203) - even without the instructional video, I manged to get gr...

Very interesting posts - good to see what others are luggin around. It reminds me a bit of the funny scene in "Line of Fire" when Clint is about to get into bed with fellow SS agent Rene Russo - and in the disrobing process all sorts of their daily carry stuff drops to the floor- ASP baton...

I had a good day as well - finally got myself a Military (serrated) - I got a great deal - and had the choice of the old stainless clip or the new black clip - I went with the stainless clip one in the end. It is one fantastic piece of solid, no nonense machinery!!

A SS 50/50 Delica would be my perfect knife for EDC. I too, like Damillster, had my old model Delica 50/50 (which I much prefer to the new ones) stolen. I love my SS Delica Plain - I carry it more than any of my others, but the 50/50 would make it truly outstanding (for my needs at least - and few o...

Hi hy (& others), I'm finding the LLB a tough going - I've actually deferred this year to set up a new business venture (http://www.enews.com.au) for any who may be interested :-) So I plan to return to part-time study last year - it's the reading that takes it's toll - I measure it in inches, n...

I do use that sideways angle thing you guys so eloquently describe - sometimes it just feels as though there is not enough clip in place to hold it.

Having said that I have never once had the Dragonfly slip out or drop - so it's probably perception rather than reality.

I'm *still* at Uni part-time - I've been studying part-time since '91.

First did a Bachelor of Business, and now finishing a LLB.

I agree with shootist16 - should have done it full time when I was younger ;-)

Thank you for posting this. It's a pleasant change to read something uplifting in the midst of the evil of this last week. I have certainly tried harder to be a better dad, son and husband to make a little bit difference in the lives of those I love during this dark time.

I love my SS Dragonfly - always wear it when I'm in a suit.

If it was tip down (or even reversible) it would be even better - I find it sits too high when carried IWB.

Hi Jeff, I have had no problems with the blade on my SS Endura II (it's serrrated). It probably gets the harshest treatment of any of my Spyderco's (camping, in the garden, around the house etc) and the edge seems to holding up ok. My only gripe with it is that the clip is mounted about 1/2" fr...

I like the fact that the Endura (and Delica) have 50/50 blades.

For outdoors use I much prefer the Endura (mine is stainless handle) but personally feel it is a bit large for EDC - Delica is perfect size for EDC.
