Re: Pass on the Pattadese

Sounds like a QC miss on that example. If you thought it was that bad, I wonder why you wouldn't return it rather than disassemble it? Have to wonder when a first post is just a negative review with no further interactions.

Re: Deep Carry Clip for the Shaman

Anyone using the short clip on a Shaman? Which short clip are you referring to? This is the MXG clip I refer to as the shorty clip. I haven't actually carried it with this clip but i put it on for photo reference. https://i.imgur.com/bV7Z0Ge.jpg https://mxggear.com/collections/spyderco/products/cus...

Superficially they look the same, no idea if they are exactly the same though.

Re: Any chance for a Lil' Z-Cut?

I'd like a 3-3.5" thin stock bg1n paring knife, but I wouldn't want the offset handle of the zcut on such a short knife. The offset Is really only useful if cutting against a board, and I don't do that with a knife that short. I'd love a 8-10" zcut with slightly thicker stock for use as a bread kni...

Re: Sage 2

I'd stick with a Sage if you liked enough to carry it 10 years. Lot's of options and if you want different scales, they are out there or can be custom made easily enough.

Buy one and ship it to me. I can make it 3.5" in ten minutes.
With that thin stock, I'd make it 5 minutes.

I'd like one with a more traditional Paring blade and a slightly shorter length. And a heavier bladed bread knife...
