I come across it honestly... it's genetic from my grandmother :p Her craft room used to be impossible to find anything before she was given a bunch of storage containers and shelves, now you can actually walk in there and find what you need. My back office is getting there with books, computers, par...

I had built a kit knife a few years ago, don't recall it taking much more time than it does for me to strip my cricket down for a good cleaning.

I'd say if they made a liner lock kit in the range of the delica I'd buy a few.

I know I wouldn't buy one. I donate to Doctors Without Borders & breast cancer research, as well as volunteer for the Motorcycle Ride For Dad (Ride Crew for 2 years it's been going here) (prostate cancer). I would rather send a donation, knowing that ~1/2 will be lost to admin costs, than only h...

thought that was supposed to be all there was on pizza... sauce (tomato paste, garlic, some oregano) , cheese (fresh mozza) , tomatoes (roma), basil, and sausage of choice (I'm a fan of calabrese) nice thin crust and it cooks quickly. Don't know who decided that 2" thick vern's was a good choice.

There's likely pizza worth a flight all the way over to Italy, if not at least Chicago.

integral clip is prior to 96-97
barrel bolt clip without dent is 98-2002(2001?) <-- my favorite version
barrel bolt clip with dent is 2002-2008(?)
current gen (3 screw clip) is 2008(?)

Sounds like you have the 2002-2008 version

you don't spread peanut butter with the back side... you spread it with the edge, so you end up with that nice little pattern from the teeth

Considering what I've put the delica, endura, dragonfly and military models through over the years... I'd put the leaf just slightly above the old style (98 model) delica and endura blades. I treat my millie as a chef knife in the kitchen, gets used on everything. You don't want to know the punishme...

Next time I find one I might have the time to toss it in a glass and get a better pic... this one was scurrying across the floor when I was taking pics. Right before it met my boot. Funny thing is that with my limited insect experience I had it tracked down to being an isopod and possibly crustacean...

Sliced up 5.5kg of beef last night for jerky... 2 of us with my freshly sharpened millies (s30v g10) in an hour.

Only other cutting over the weekend was opening packages (picked up some yahoo messenger phones and extra network gear)

I'd view it as a question of market share... while the collectors will spend more looking for a specific model and configuration, the entire knife community will be trying to get the harder to find ones. Condition is always a factor, having the correct box for the knife, and the box in good conditio...
