Me too and I'd prefer no liners since I tip up carry anyway.

Not a collector. Just trying to find, and stick with, a couple of select knives. The ones that I end up not liking get sold.

I don't think any of my spyderco lockbacks click, but every one I've ever owned moved up and down a little when locked. Some required more force than others. I still trust them.

I spent most of a day in the ocean with my VG-10 Delica with no rust forming on it. Can't even remember if I oiled it first. I just rinsed it off afterwards.

Nice review. I received a digi PM2 yesterday and have had 2 PMs in the past. I much prefer this PM2. The slightly stronger detent makes this a non-lockback that I don't mind carrying tip up. I like the slightly longer and slightly thinner blade. The entire package flows a little better than the PM d...

Mine was a fully serrated Endura, ordered from the Cutlery Shoppe in 1990 or so. Their catalogs would have me drooling for hours.

Only sharpen the tip on the flats. At the end of your stroke towards the tip, go slowly and lift the blade off of the stone before the tip slides off the stone.

I'd rather have no choil (Delica, Endura) than be forced into choil-only (Caly3). I do like models that allow choil or no choil b/c of the saber grip issue you mention like the Para or Stretch.

That's only if you carry in the front right hand pocket. If you carry in the right back pocket, the blade is more free to open with tip up/liner lock carry. Same thing with front edge of a cargo pocket.

I like the Native alot. Simple design for easy cleaning, don't have to worry about screws coming out or stripping the heads when trying to disassemble it to clean like I did on my D4, slightly wider and thicker handle than a D4. Don't much care for the swedge, I think the new Native 4 FFG blade is p...

Para2/Para closed blade retention

Hi, Trying to bite the bullet and get a Para2. I can't handle one of the new Para2 models but have had the previous generation Para. How does the closed-blade retention compare between the Para2 and the previous model. Also, would you feel confident carrying tip-up without the blade resting against ...

I found that my delica wave would occasionally bog down in the pocket on the draw. It would grab so much of the pocket corner that it wouldn't even come out of the pocket. The zip-tie mod on a regular delica is 100% consistent regardless of pocket type if you rip it backwards vigorously.

Maybe check to make sure the screws are all tight. The fact that it locks fine with thumb opening shows something. How to you know for certain that with inertia or wrist-flick that the lock is fully engaging? You don't. It probably clicked when the blade tang slammed home and then popped back out be...

Not sure about the Sage handles but I believe that people used to 'refresh' their Sebenza handles with a scotchbrite pad. I did it once.

This is the first knife of any make that I've seen in years that just 'popped'. If it isn't too pricey and I can handle it first, it might be the only non-lockback Spydie I will have bought in a long time.

Big enough difference that it got me carrying an E4 again!

As an example, cutting slices off of an apple moving the blade towards your thumb in a reverse grip, the regular blade E4 required so much force it was dangerous.
