Re: scales and sheaths
Finally was going to pull the trigger on the leather sheath and it’s now out of stock…lol. That’s what I deserve for waiting.

Re: scales and sheaths
Awesome pics, thanks. I think this is the best option for me right now but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. Shipping is basically half the price of the sheath but I guess I just need to suck it up and order it.

Blade Forums Hackers and Scammers
Multiple accounts have been hacked and those accounts are being used to scam people in the Exchange forums.
If you have an account there, I would recommend changing your password and using the 2 step verification.

Re: Travel knife -- checked luggage
I’m more curious to know where most people HIDE the knives in their checked luggage? I don’t travel a lot but I know I have hid a knife or 2 in rolled up socks in the past. Unless your bringing a knife that is illegal at your destination (which you shouldn't), why would you go through such lengths ...

Re: Sharpening Magnacut
What stones did you use and did you stay with the factory angle?
I sharpened mine today using Venevs and down to 0.25 micron on kangaroo just for fun. Factory angle appeared to be 17°on mine and stayed with that. It was cake with the Venevs and impressed with the edge it took.

Re: Travel knife -- checked luggage
I’m definitely the odd person out here, but if I were flying by air nowadays, depending on the destination, I wouldn’t pack more than maybe an SAK. Maybe a Spartan or a Classic. Even those, I would secure them to something else inside my luggage with a zip tie or something. Jim I don’t blame you. I...

Re: scales and sheaths
Is that the Spyderco kydex? Does anyone use the leather sheath that Spyderco has? I contacted couple kydex sheath makers (since the Spyderco one is out of stock) and none of them are taking orders. I just got the leather sheath. Haven’t put it to much use yet. Seems okay. Says made in Japan. Is a b...

Re: DLT Kapara Exclusive!
I recently purchased a lightly used one on the secondary market for $150. Just need to know where to look, but I also go lucky. I try to keep a minimal online profile (err, distraction), and this place is pretty much it…I suppose I should just suck it up, get a Reddit profile, join the swap and kis...

Re: DLT Kapara Exclusive!
My advice would be check the secondary market.
It was 2 years between DLT’s first and second run of their Red Para 3 M390. Their second run appeared to be random and it was a small batch.

Re: Native 5 salt is Magnacut?
I’m curious on price vs the LC200N version. It looks like the Native5 MagnaCut is replacing LC200N since they both have the same model#. Also, the price has gone up. The LC200N is MSRP: $186.00 Street Price: $130.20. The MagnaCut one is MSRP: $204.50 Street Price: $143.15 (up 10%)! That's assuming ...
