Re: Silicon Nitride or Zirconia (Ceramic) ball for CBBL?
Very simple modification to make. I have done this on mine as well. No more lock stick and glossy smooth action. Zero friction. You can find them on Amazon for a few bucks. Size is 3/16. Take the old one out drop the knew one in. I would post a link but I'm not sure if that's allowed.

Re: Is this normal? S110V Edge Retention + Bearing cutting a track on Manix 2
The line on your bearing track doesn't look all that abnormal to me. I have Three M2's all with that same steel. All have some type of line there. I would imagine it is mostly oil that you could wipe off with a cotton swab if you try. But there is likely some slight amount of wear going on which I t...

Re: PM2 S110V directly from Amazon fake?
Its bad enough to sell fakes but it really pisses me off when they try to pass them off as real. At least if your going to sell a fake then list it as such.
Your not only selling shady merchandise, your lying about it.

Re: PM2 S110V directly from Amazon fake?
I think Spyderco does not sell directly through Amazon. We have an advantage in PM2 S110V steel. There are almost no fakes that I've seen on ebay for exemple. This fact is I think because of the higher demand for S30V which has a lot of fakes, clones ecc. But in spite of this fact, the most secure ...

Re: Not sharp out of the box
I've purchased at least 10 Spydies and everyone has been shaving sharp out of the box. Even the cheaper ones. Best consistent factory edges I've seen from a brand.

Spyderco clips are superior to others. The hour glass clip is perfect as well as the wire clip. Can't decide which I prefer.

Re: One-handed pocketing
You can easily adjust the clip tension by removing it and bending it. I wrap the end that attaches to the knife in a cloth and pinch it in a pair of pliers and bend the other end slightly to loosen it up. It may take you a few times to reach the desired tension. I do this will all my knives when I ...

Is it a full salt knife or just the blade? I'd love to see a Manix 2 lw Salt with LC200n if we posting our wants.

Re: Spyderchef dropping
Really glad to see Spyderco using this steel. I hope this means we will see it in other offerings. Maybe even replace H1 as I've read it has better edge retention. Who knows what we will see this used in in future?

It would be great if they somehow made them available online for those of us that live all the way across the county.

I personally wouldn't buy one as I see little use in them but Spyderco might as well add one to the lineup as I'm sure they would sell some.

Re: Spyderco Manix 2 LW Pivot Question
The lw versions do take some breaking in. Just flick the fool out of the bad boy. If you are worried about the pivot screw coming out take it out and put some Loctite on it and put it back in. Leave it alone for a day and it should be good to go. Depending on how stiff the action is when it is tight...

Re: Dull Blade
It was likely sold to someone and used a bit and then returned. Amazon doesn't check their returns. I've bought merchandise that was obviously used too. Spyderco factory sharpness has always been very good in my experience. Even on the foreign cheaper models. Return it for refund and buy from a repu...

Carrying my S110V Manix 2 Lightweight for the first day today. Sorry, no pretty pictures yet. First impressions are that this is going to be an awesome hiking knife. Also thinking this will start coming along biking and running. The ergo's are great for me and the performance for the weight is fant...

My Manix 2 s110v stays in the pocket these days. Can't seem to bring myself to carry anything else lately.
