Police - it's been in the lineup continuously for 26 years. Delica and Endura - both have been around for 21 years. Military - 15 years and still going strong Native - 13 years in the lineup Paul hit the nail on the head with this list, IMO. I would dare say that the ParaMilitary 2 is soon to be ad...

IMO, the nested linerlock design is great as is, but a Compression Lock Military would definitely have my interest..... :D

Great decision indeed....not saying that the Manix 2 isn't a great Spydie as well. ;)

I'm eagerly awaiting my second Para 2 that should be in today and just got off the phone with John at the SFO and have a black Para 2 clip and a 2012 Spyderco calendar on their way to me as I type this.

The Spydie drop, which you just described, is my preferred opening method with my Paras and Military. :D After some practice, deployment can be lightning fast.

I've been out of the :spyder: loop lately, due to funds going towards some new CRKs, but I did pick these up during the year as well... Military CE(old school with MILITARY stamped on blade) PPT Para 1(black blade) Para 2(gave this one to my son) Also have another Para 2 on the way from New Graham a...

I highly agree, Evil D. :D

The design of the para 1 has less egros...... YMMV, but for me, I find both designs equally ergonomic for my tastes. Even though I have large hands, the little 'hook' on the end of the handle on the Para 1 feels a little more comfortable to me when my pinky finger 'locks' onto it, giving me a sligh...

This dealer is usually at every gun show that comes down here and always seems to surprise me with the stuff he gets his hands on. This time, the collection he had was crazy. And besides these rare Spydies, he also always seems to have at least one or two CRK folders, which are usually sold out just...

Thanks for the info, jabba, that definitely answers my question. ;) The Para 2 is very appealing to me as well, almost wish I had kept it but I figured that my son would enjoy carrying something other than a Meerkat or Calypso Jr.. While it may be a little while before I pick another one up, since s...

Much better the second time around....

Since giving my Para 2 to my son a few months back, I had been wanting to pickup another for myself and thought I would find one at the gun show yesterday. I managed to get a good deal on a black bladed Para 1 PE($100 NIB), the only problem with that is I was having a brain fart and thought that it ...

Shock and Awe!!!!

I have a few favorites but the one that tops my list is the B52 Stratofortress , also affectionately known as the BUFF. The B52 has a special place in my heart since it was the aircraft based at my first duty station at Andersen AFB, Guam while it was still a SAC base before the first Gulf War. Even...

I have never had any firsthand experience with the company, but I received their 2011 Christmas catalog today....funny thing is, I don't remember ordering it. Quite a variety of stuff, but nothing that caught my eye except some of their tin signs. Personally, I stick with my fav, New Grah...

Thanks, Doc. I've tried my best in raising him, since getting custody of him when he was about 7 years old. Unfortunately, his mother is not actively involved in his life and even with that obstacle, he's grown into a well rounded kid who stumbles at times but I'm there to pick him back up or steer ...

Proud of my son and just had to share...

I just found out this past week that my son had wanted to surprise me with a Perrin PPT that he had ordered from New Graham. Due to a mixup at NGK and a delay with UPS, the package arrived a week later and much to my surprise, the knife that was sent was a Persistence instead of the PPT. A def...
