Not only did I 'have' to get this one, as the designer is a fellow Dutchman and a great guy, I really like this pocket fixed blade - even though I prefer neck carry. In anticipation of the release of the Spyderco Stretch 2 XL sprint run, with a Damascus blade and blue Nishijin glass fiber scales, here’s a look at two types of Nishijin glass fiber that Spyderco has used in the past.

Yes, I would assume made in Seki, Japan. All Nishijin models so far were made in Japan and the Stretch 2 XL is also currently made in Japan.
