Re: What's your favorite steel?

Having used S30v the most, it has become my go to steel. However, M4 is my acknowledged best and favorite for any knife. D2 (and cts xhp) and 1095 are my two favorite working knife steels, which means they get used the most. I've an off and on like of M390. It is certainly good stuff but it has defi...

Re: Military and Para2 in s110v Blurple

I have all five blurple g10 s110v spydies and yes, this is the only one that doesn't have a silver clip. I'm wondering, if I can get an anondized clip for the Millie. Slow switching them all to blue anodized titanium

Re: Poll: New Wharncliffe Variants?

Voted Dragonfly because it seems like the best next step but would also love to see the Native, Manix LW and Urban or UKPK in wharncliffe. My number one pick is the native 5, but the dragonfly is definitely the next best step. I carry my wharny Tidioute Beer Scout knife as a secondary every day but...

Poll: New Wharncliffe Variants?

I loved the wharncliffe variation on the Delica this year. Actually, the wharncliffe is my favorite blade shape. It is just so incredibly useful. So, I'm wondering if anyone else wants to see another wharncliffe variation hit the market. I was thinking a wharncliffe native 5 or manix 2. Of course, t...

Re: Will Spyderco ever produce a chisel ground folder?

I hope Spyderco doesn't do a chisel. The rest of the knife design would have to be super compelling for it to work for me and, by the looks of this poll, most others. However, I'm definitely not against more convex and Scandinavian grinds.

Maybe the ones you want will drop around the holidays. You know you're going to get yourself a lil' spydie present anyway.

Re: Name your fav allaround-do-it-all Spyderco folder in 2017

I've bought a lot of Spyderco this year. My logical favorite is the Slysz Bowie that I recently bought, but it has only seen light duty use forcing my SAK into overtime when I carry it. The unexpected winner for me is the dark blue S110v Military. I really just bought it to complete the dark blue S1...

Spyderco Blade Centering and Trying to Be Zen About It

I've been on a knife binge these past couple of months and have acquired quite a few new spydercos. However, on quite a few of them, the blade is not centered. My pm2 is far from perfect, my pm3 isn't bad but eh, my Slysz Bowie isn't 100 (which sucks becuase of the price but isn't terrible), and my ...

I voted Green and Grey!
The British racing green is a massive favorite.
And it would be great if a grey-scale series came out in g10 or frn... gray sage 5 instead of carbon fiber

Re: What Spydie would you grab in an emergency?

I hate to say it, but as I don't have any rare Spyderco's they wouldn't be the first to be grabbed. Sure, time depending, I'd grab my slysz bowie (if it wasn't already in my pocket). But if it was a matter of saving knives, I'd have to save my two bark rivers (little carver and mini kalahari). I've ...

Re: Time for New, More Advanced Spyderco Pocket Clips

I agree with much that has been said. More knives need the wire clip! Would have loved if the para3 came with one. Wire clips shouldn't be black painted. Also, Spyderco introducing deep carry clips would be fantastic. Even if deep carry isn't offered on many knives, Spyderco could do as Benchmade do...

The Myrtle! I bought it just to give it a feel and then pass it on but I've grown to love its big recurve + hawkbill weirdness
